Shootout Loss, but Luongo had a very good game. Hopefully he has a good season start this year.
Yeah that OT was amazing for Lu.

Oil are looking awesome. The Canucks will still win the division, but it's nice to see they've got some competition now.
did Hjaalmarson get suspended yet? how many games? that was brutal. there is so much to talk about right now. omg
- both the Leafs and Oilers are 2-0
- Ducks playing like dog shit
- Wings / Avs on TSN2 tonight, BOOYAH
- Seguin scored a beauty yesterday
+++++++
Great that hockey's back. Got the NHL Gamecenter Live pkg this year and went to the Blues' home opener on Saturday. Good times.
Borderline Hit, tragic consequences.
And the Preds take down the Blackhawks to move to 2-0. An undefeated season is still possible.![]()
no los angeles love in this threadi'll have to represent
kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiings!
hopefully they can smack down vancouver again. luongo wasn't looking so hot during that shootout.
Gamecenter Live is ridiculously awesome. I have to put my kid to bed in the middle of game time so I just hit pause... come back and hit play... can't beat that. And HD quality is great... didn't even have that when I PVR'd games from FIOS cause the Center Ice feeds weren't HD.
Lets go Avalanche!! Doot, doot, doot doot doo
I think having the stanley cup champs game 1 and then the stanley cup losers game 2 is good for us. Let us know right out the gate whats going on. Already took down the champs at home, now gotta take out Philly and Detroit on the road on back to back nights.
Av's are looking fantastic. First we beat the stanley cup champs, then we lose only in the last 2 minutes on a fluky goal to the stanley cup losers. Then we beat the red wings with our backup goalie playing abysmally.
Beat the two best teams in the Central division, the toughest division in hockey over the last 4-5 years.
Next up a stanley cup favorite in the NJ Devils. Doesn't get any easier.
Kovalchuk scores his first of the year in the Devils 4th game, puts him on pace for about 20 goals this year. That would be awesome.
