Oilers steamrolled the Flames.

Surprised to say Maple Leafs didn't look bad. If they can keep this up, they might make the playoffs.

I think the Toronto Maple Leafs will make the playoffs for the 1st time in a long time, no?

I think the important thing for me is this team looks like it actually cares.

That is what really pissed me of about TML, the lack of effort.

i watched it so many times this morning... lol... i was giddier than a little schoolgirl :awe:

The Oilers are going to have a good year this year. I think they make it into the playoffs. If they get solid goaltending like last night and great play from the youngsters......... watch out.

The Flyers also managed to spoil the Pens' opening of a new arena. Without Pronger.

Bobrovsky looked very good.

Puts the Canes with 2 wins in a row...Im not expecting to see that too much this season, but the preseason wasnt too bad so maybe Ill be surprised. Be interesting to see if they keep him after 9 games.

Ondrej Pavelec Collapses On The Ice ... It looked like he got light headed and dropped. Kinda scary to see but he is apparently doing fine at a local hospital.
