Hehe. The Sharks aren't real good in the shootout. All the players that went didn't try any good moves except for Pavelski.
 
What a spanking my boys laid on the Avs last night. 4 to zip. Way to go Mason, showing you know just how to handle that top spot.

I'm loving the Oilers young speedy guys. It was a sloppy game for the most part but I just love what I saw from the youngsters - Gagner, Nilsson and Cogliano! They got a ton of ice time and didn't disappoint!

Yeah, I can see the huge "dropoff" that happened after the alleged "fire sale" of the Preds' players... :thumbsup:😀

On another note... Scott Burnside is a moron. Just thought I'd add that in there.

So very true. Burnside is not worthy of breathing the same air as the rest of the human race and is a complete waste of skin.

Nah, with my wife being a stay-at-home mom and not working, I'm too strapped for cash to go. 🙁 But if you ever want to hook a brother up with some tix, I'm there. :thumbsup:😀

The start of the game was actually pretty damn entertaining. Lots of end to end action. Pretty fun to watch with 2 fast teams. 🙂
 
Will be at the Dallas Stars season home opener in about an hour. 😀

I've been to many games and seen many openers on tv, but never *been* to a home opener, so I expect the crowd to be wild and really into the game. 🙂
 
The Leafs played well. Still, we'll take the 4 points and try to play better on Saturday against the Rangers.
 
just a couple random thoughts on the NHL so far...

- does anyone else notice an increase in SPEED in some of the teams? :shocked: last night the Isles and Sabres played one of the fastest games I have ever seen!

- checking out all of the different jerseys in action is making watching even more exciting!

- last night i watched some hockey before leaving to play pickup, got home at 11:30 and there was still a period of West coast action left 😎 WHO ELSE LOVES OCTOBER?!
 
I definitely noticed that the Oilers got faster when they played the Sharks on Thursday. Should be an exciting season. 🙂
