Unfortunately the Hawks defense looks terrible and Brees has looked good so far except for that one fumbled snap. :\

Seahawks have a shot as long as brees turns it over at least twice.

In other news...I'm here in Tucson and all channels are going to be news on Gabrielle Giffords all day. I was hoping to watch some football to get my mind off this sad story but I don't think the game is going to come on locally.

Anywhere I can watch a live stream of saints/seahawks that isn't awfulbad quality and buffering every 3 seconds?

Holy shit. I hadn't heard about the shootings. Sad news indeed.
I'm glad they caught the guy suspected of the shooting. I had expected this to be tied to the Mexican drug wars.

I'm not surprised at how the game is going so far. I actually expected to be somewhat worse for Seattle. Hasslebeck sucks. Then again, Seattle has always been lacking a decent QB...going back to the start of the franchise.

Mike Mayock only played a couple of seasons in the NFL. He is apparently their Notre Dame color commentary guy and an NFL Network guy. From the sound of his work here, it doesn't surprise me that he is on the NFL Network.

Mayock's decent when he's on the Dan Patrick show, but damn, he's sucking today. :\

Sorry but that's crazy...he got us to the super bowl, playoffs many years- he's not elite, but there's no way you can say he's not decent...his best days are def. behind him though, I agree- I doubt he'll be back next year (and I'm ok w/ that...)

Hasselback is a decent QB, but his biggest problem is that he is the Bob Sanders of QBs. It is news when he actually plays.

New York Jets vs. Indianapolis Colts, 5:30 p.m. on NBC (Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis)
Announcers: Al Michaels, Chris Collinsworth, Andrea Kremer
guess that is a little better???

Oh I agree- that's why I'm fine w/ them getting rid of him- waaay to injury plauged recently- but during his prim he was pretty healthy and def a top 10 qb (I know he made the probowl at least once)
