Chris Johnson - ROY

So true. I think most fans gave Titans crap because of the pick, but damn he's turned out to be so good. He's ROY by far over anyone else.

I wouldn't be so entirely sure about that. There are some good candidates this year, but yes so far it seems like he is.

Don't think Chris Johnson is a shoe in just yet. Deshawn Jackson is pretty good as well. So is Matt Ryan. If I had to guess now I'd go with Matt Ryan.

Edit: Forgot about Matt Forte.

Honest win by the Titans, but this shows they're vulnerable. Green Bay is a "better" team in the league this year mainly because there are so many bad ones.

They've always been vulnerable. Kerry Collins is far from ideal, if they have a weakness its certainly at QB. There are several teams that could match up with them in the playoffs and take away the Titan's crutch, the run, and then also be able to put enough pressure on Collins to make him look like the backup he's supposed to be.

Titans don't match up well with Pitsburg.

Miserable year for Dallas so far.

Not quite sure what people were expecting from the Cowboys this game, but there's a bunch of shit talkers in this thread.

Something better than Brooks Lollinger could provide. Along with DeMarcus WaresMyHelp and Terrible Owens, Dallas is fast becoming the best comedy show in football.

Oh wow, you're so crafty with your nicknames! Wares one of the best OLBs in the league, and the D isn't exactly living up to the names on the field ... TO screwed up on that first interception (wasn't running the route fast enough), but do you honestly think that these guys had a lot of practice with Bollinger/Johnson? Hell, Johnson was brought in to be the holder on FG/PATs.

I'd say Ryan leads Johnson then Forte.

Atlanta had no hope, esp considering all the drama that still hovers above that organization.

don't you have to consider joe flacco pending the success of the ravens?

Some pundits think the Ravens are winning in spite of Flacco. And Ryan's stats are much better than Flacco's.

GODFUCKING DAMNIT. WHO THE FUCK DOES THAT??? Your team is on a potential game winning drive and you jack some one up after the play?? Who THE FUCK does that shit. I hope they cut that goddamn douchebag. FUCK FUCK FUCK. We had that game. Fuck you dave thomas and fuck your family your friends and everyone you know.

Blame Gaffeny as much, had a perfect TD pass put right in his breadbasket and he drops it. They finally showed the replay and Thomas just levels the guy well after the whistle, what a moron..

Thank you Gaffney (for channeling your inner Reche Caldewell) and Thomas (for founding Wendy's and being an idiot). Hard game but the Colts REALLY needed the W. Wildcard '08 baby!

I'd like to thank the refs of the Miami game and the Pats from being complete idiots, you both helped me win $100 in my weekly pool. Thank you.

Yeah, Colts totally pulled a Homer on that one, eh? 😛

Hell, I didn't think about Flacco. But maybe that's b/c the Ravens were a playoff team last year...

Ravens were 5-11 last year and finished last in the AFC North...which is part of the reason they fired Billick and now have rookie head coach John Harbaugh.

With only 5 TDs and 7 INTs and a passer rating of ~75, Flacco hasn't really shown he's part of the reason they're 5-3 for the easier half of their schedule, certainly not when they have the ~4th best defense in the entire league.

Although the Ravens have the tougher half of their schedule coming up, as they play the entire NFC East as well as Pittsburgh again and Jacksonville. If the Ravens can finish 10-6 or better and/or sneak into the playoffs, and Flacco can be part of the reason they finish that way, then maybe there would be a case for it.

Can't believe Gaffney dropped that wide open TD.

Awww man...remember in that playoff games against the colts 2 years ago? Brady threw a perfect pass to a wide open guy (literally...no one covered him from the start) and he just dropped it. Who was that?

Titans just keep on rolling. As for respect, they just can't win on that count. Even with chicago coming up the doubters will say (if we win) 'no kyle orton!'. I guess I don't really care since popularity doesn't mean shit in the nfl.

Meh, 18-1 ain't to shabby in my book, besides, the Giants have proven to be a great team, the SB wasn't a fluke or choke, the Pats just got out played most of the day. Love or hate the Pats (and I know it's mostly hate),you were watching. Weather we admit it or not it's about the drama and for me last years SB was more exciting than say a Ravens-Seahawks matchup..

Yeah, I know, just taking a little opportunity to poke some fun at Pats fans 😀

But yes, the Pats just weren't quite on their game in the last Super Bowl, and the Giants went nuts and just outplayed them. They were both very good teams and I would have been happy if the Pats had won as well.
