Having both your starting corners, and your starting safety out for the game should help us greatly.

Browns win a defensive battle, 21-16.

Not shit to watch at 1PM except the Titans-Packers game. Looks like all the good matchups are in the 4:15 slot. Pats-Colts would've been a must-see...last year. I'll probably still watch it. My Panthers have the week off.

I'm looking for the good matchups at 4:15, but all I see are:

Miami Dolphins at Denver Broncos
Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants
Philadelphia Eagles at Seattle Seahawks
Atlanta Falcons at Oakland Raiders

WTF are you talking about?

Jints/Boys, Dolphins/Broncos should be pretty good. Eagles/Hawks depends on which version of Seattle shows up.

What the hell would you watch at 1 other than Titans/Packers? Bills/Jets? They're both overrated, and everyone else is playing a gimme-opponent. The only other exception might be Minnesota-Houston, but neither team can find any consistency, so in all likelihood one will run right over the other, making for a boring show.

Colts need to put up or shut up this week. If we can't beat the Pats without Tom Brady, at home, it will be time to start talking about the draft.

Titans aren't overrated. They're a near-complete football team, and when Collins has been pressed to prove he can make the passes he needs to to win, he's done it. They should be 6-1 but that still makes them a great team.

I was talking about the Jets and Bills, but I don't fully believe in the Titans yet either. The second half of their schedule is a lot tougher than the first half.

Are the Jets really overrated? A lot of people don't think very highly of them. I agree with you on the Bills though.

I don't agree with you about the Titans schedule, I think the whole thing is easy. That's not the Titans fault, they're just one of the few good teams in the AFC this year. Green Bay and Chicago are tough but not on Tennessee's level, Jacksonville sucks as much as the Colts do, and Rothlisburger might not be able to stand by week 16 when they play the Steelers.

Those are the caveats, yes.

As for Tennessee, I see only 4 real tests remaining: The Packers are competent, but should still lose. Chicago could win it if everyone has a good game. Pittsburgh is a legitimate contender IF most of the roster is healthy. Colts = Pittsburgh....who's hurt? The rest of them are gimme games. The Titans could realistically go undefeated in the regular season...who'da thunk, two years in a row?

As for the Bills, their one loss is to Arizona, who really isn't even that good. They played easy teams and Bad San Diego so far (There are two San Diegos. There's the one that played New England, and then the one that played everyone else). The second half of their year is just as soft, with only a couple trips to New England really sticking out.

We'll probably see them in the playoffs, though I think they have no reason to be there. The Jets are average once you get past the Favre hype, which is starting to die down (thank god). They could be contenders next year with a few key acquisitions. Interesting side note: Chad Pennington is having a stellar year in Miami. Mangini's teeth can be heard grinding on the winds.

Titans will press Aaron into submission today.

It sucks being here in Hamburg, Germany and not able to watch the game. I'll try and keep up with it online!

The outcome of the skins games could determine the next president. From 1940-2000, in the Skins home game before the election, when they win, the incumbent party stays in office. When the skins lose, the other party takes over the white house.
The only time this didn't pan out was in 2004.
