Really Favre? After all that, you had to not only lose the game but give them the points? Fuck. 😡

well, hopefully the Jets defense will be better when they get Darelle Revis back... for real.

I don't know who was out there wearing #24, but it certainly wasn't one of the best defensive players in the league.

I find this interesting:

502 Passing TDs
14 Rushing TDs
324 INTs
162 Fumbles

516 TDs / 486 Turnovers = 1.06 TDs / Turnover

Did anyone doubt Favre would throw a pick at the end of the game there? 😛

Vikings played alright though for having very little running game and running defense. I thought the Jets would win by another touchdown or two. Harvin and Folk on my fantasy teams 🙂

Not all fumbles are turnovers. There's fumbles, and lost fumbles. Of lost ones he has like 60. Remember he also played in one of the coldest fields in all of the NFL for a bulk of his career for half his games. Trying to hold on to the ball when it's 10 degrees (or colder) isn't the easiest thing. Plus I think he has had a number of injuries over the year he played through that affected his grip...not that it execuses him...but you get the good with the bad.

I would like to see the actual number of fumbles lost. I will look for it.

According to yahoo he has 59 + 2 tonight would make 61

516 / 385 = 1.34 TDs / TO

Thanks for the yahoo link.

Some of these reporters are so fucking stupid it's mind boggling. "Brett, I know you're not going to talk about this, but has this whole thing been embarrassing for you?" What kind of question is that?

You guys should consider yourself lucky to have been able to watch the Jets game from the comfort of your own homes. This is not to say I didn't love attending the game tonight, but the weather was absolutely awful between the 2 minute warning of the first half and the end of the 3rd quarter (as well as before the game started, which caused the delay). I spent the entire 3rd quarter in front of the overpriced vendors watching the game on ESPN because my clothes were already soaked through (I'd rather be caught dead than spend $10 on a cheap plastic poncho).

That being said, the Jets got lucky tonight. The Vikes figured out our D by the time the rain started and our offense, with the exception of Folk, was sad. Revis did not play commensurate with his pay grade. We didn't convert on 3rd down enough. Thankfully, Favre and the Vikings made some major mistakes. The Jets will have to improve their offense because after their bye in week 7 as they will have to face Green Bay, Chicago, Houston, and Pittsburgh. At least the Broncos should go down easy next week.
