rudeguy doesn't drink.
But I can see him going for the ban as a way to force himself to stay away form the forums--seems he's been very busy at work. Maybe that was his strategy. :hmm:
I  your MNF pick.
Maybe he was, you know, telling the stone cold truth.
I don't like the bears chances this week against green bay. Their secondary is just completely decimated right now. Another injury and they will start pulling fans in from three crowd to play.

Green Bay has been nothing but lack luster this season. The Bears will find a way to luck it out like they did against the Jets.
The only way the bears stand a chance is if they can put a ton of pressure on Rodgers otherwise expect jordy Nelson to have about 600 yards receiving.Green Bay has been nothing but lack luster this season. The Bears will find a way to luck it out like they did against the Jets.

packers have issues though. If bears play phisical and get Forte some running yards the bears can survive in the secondary if Bostic and Williams play sideline to sideline like they did.
If the bears can stop Lacy and make the pack one dimensional they have a chance though I see the pack bouncing back as they arent as bad as they are playing.
Pack have key injuries on the line dont they? They have been really soft up front.
Bears need more mistake free play from Cutler and need Slauson to come back for the run game. Ola has been good as a pass blocker but his run game has been awful and hes had trouble with the speed rush. Good backup lacking in a starting role.
I actually prefer Delapuente to Garza though Garza is a team leader. De La soul as I call him has more tools is more athletic at this age.
Briggs was awful last night despite what the writers are saying. He missed 3 or 4 run fits and was out of position more than bostic and thats saying something.
Time for bears to really think about getting Greene and Jones some play on run downs. Maybe Briggs a kick in the nuts by watching a few plays. All coach has to say is he looked tired and needed a rest.
Watching a rookie get a few snaps pissed Forte off and he ran and carried two safeties for first down late in the game.
Bears got better in special teams with Dixon i covereage and a fumble recovery. This is how players get themselves playing time.
I cant remember if it was Dick Jauron or some other bad bears coach 20 years ago said that players cut themselves by not knowing the playbook and not working hard and I think the opposite is also true. Work your ass off and know your shit and you will play eventually. I wish the bears were a little more like the Seahawks or Bostic would have been playing instead of mclellan the last few games. DJ is finally starting to look in shape though I wonder if Greene would have been better served learning and giving us about the same production.
Bears are really close to winning ball. I cant call the last few weeks winning ball since both opposing QBs gave the games away with mistakes though I credit the bears for making less mistakes than their opponents.
If the pack rebounds and gets thier running game right the bears have trouble ahead or if Rodgers plays the way he can the bears have some issues in a shootout.
What I hope is the bears run at Peppers and tire him out. If the bears can pound some first downs they have a chance.
PLEASE COME BACK slauson and stay away Shae.
I would be starting bostic at the middle with Greene at mike and Jones at Will though talent wise Greene is better suited at the other side though Jones needs time to learn the coverages.
Bears need to give up on some of these Vets as starters and let the young guys grow.
Biggest Vet mistake the bears made was NOT signing Hayden back. Thats one Vet that should have been giving a roster spot early. He would have had a TON of minutes last few games and could have played some safety.
de la Puente is small for a center isn't he? The Bears run game was terrible.I don't get all the bears suck' we are seeing. esp considering its followed by pack love.
FTP
they have look TERRIBLE 90% of the time, which is far worse than the bears, and they are pretty healthy
Hayden declined to come back, they cut and resigned him a few times in a week, probably made him salty(understandably)
we had how many FF against the jets? 4? with no recoveries?
the defense is a turnover machine again.
Alshon looked much healthier this week, and it should continue, marshal is passable health wise, hope it holds
de la Puente aint bad, but he made some bad mistakes on jet blitzes that caused a turnover
shea was actually doing OK this year(I hate him though)
bostic is looking very promising at Sam, not sure I'd move him, and I agree Briggs looked iffy against the jets
I hope I'm wrong but I see KC as winning, the Pats 0-line is still in disarray and anyone named Edleman rarely gets open. The defense is improved but not enough to overcome the offensive woes, scoring 13 points against the Raiders at home who were missing 2 of their starting linebackers is not a good sign.
The Vikings placed Matt Cassel on season-ending IR, which means it's Teddy Bridgewater's team now. (It also means Minnesota is one Bridgewater injury away from handing the reins back to Christian Ponder.)
The Vikings are the new Detroit Lions. Remember how bad the Lions were year after year, well that's the road the Vikings are heading down. The Lions have turned it around, and seem to be getting better, but the Vikings are terrible, and just getting worse. They are one injury away from having Ponder at QB again, lol!
The Lions were a head coach away from dominating the NFC North the last 2 years. Now that they have a new coach I fully expect them to win the division based solely on their talent.
Jim Schwartz was just incapable of disciplining his players to the point where they wouldn't beat themselves with stupid penalties and it lost way to many games for the lions. They seem to be much more in control so far this year.
I agree with everything, except the Lions winning the division. Unless the Bears lose a couple more key players to injury, they should have no problems staying at the top. The Lions will be a close second. Although GB has started the last two years at 1-2 and somehow made the playoffs, I do not see them rebounding this year. They are a mess, with way too many issues to overcome. They will battle the Vikings for last place.
I see the North ending like this:
Bears
Lions
Packers
Vikings
Yeah, as injury depleted as they are, KC has looked much improved in their last two games. Given the advantage of Arrowhead at night, I think it'll be a battle.
Smith will be patient and take what the NE defense gives him, meanwhile Brady will most likely become sacked, pressured, hurried as he has been all season, it's OK to have an older QB still playing (see PM), but you MUST have a solid O-line to give him time to use that experience, so far the Patriots O-line has failed dismally in protecting Brady, I'd be surprised if he finishes this season it's so bad.
