The ball was at the 30 and technically, I don't believe there was a limit on how far back they got their start even though I believe most started 10 yards back.

Yea, 2 kickoffs in the Dallas - Denver game, and 2 touchbacks. Hopefully we won't have this crap all year long.

Been a bunch of returns in the Pats/Jags game so far, not really seeing the difference

The levels are still much lower than they were before. Hopefully it doesn't prove to be the case all year, it's boring to watch a kickoff, touchback then more commercials. :thumbsdown:

Why don't they have the kickers kick the ball higher and closer to the goal line to pin down the return man instead of just a touchback every kick? Maybe my Madden is thinking too much.

just turned on the deadskin game. sounds like they've actually been decent, but the stillers wen't backups almost from the go. of course they may need to find a kicker at some point.

Did anyone see all of the Titan's game, or at least when Jake Locker was in at QB? I only saw the highlights on ESPN, he did not look too bad. I am really pulling for him, he has great head on his shoulders and work ethic. Matt Hasselbeck should make a good mentor for him as well.

not really... that's just a rumor that "somebody familiar with the patriots way" thinks that the pats could cut one or both of them (haynes, ocho). Not really news to anyone, that was part of why it was a good deal to trade for haynesworth, if it isn't working they can just cut him and move on.
