Cam has had an outstanding year, so much so that I think he deserves the official thread that carries his alter-ego -- SUPERMAN!! Not to mention, he's probably the runaway MVP!

Join him in his quest on Feb 7, 2016 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara California, as he attempts to take the NFL most coveted crown!

...but that won't be easy, as P-Man is his kryptonite, seeing he's already proven he can win the big game:

Also gee I can't wait for the traffic to suck even more than it does in the Bay Area during the SB.

Don't think so. Although I am rooting for the Panthers personally, Denver's D shut down Brady today.

Panthers do well against immobile pocket passers. If Osweiler has any scrambling ability, he may have a better chance than P Manning against Charlotte!

Yeah sure, start a backup in the Superbowl when Manning is healthy.

No wonder you're not coaching football.

You know what--I just realized that I moved out of the superbowl town only a few months ago.

of course, I knew it was coming. It just never dawned on me. I guess the superbowl venue never sticks in my mind, because it is usually never a home-team championship game (how every other major championship event is a home-home series). SB is hoped to be as neutral as possible.

I always look forward to the game, but I never care about "the event." Other championships that always feature some home-town games are a much better experience for residents, you know?

(I've lived in hockey and baseball championship towns)

The Cardinals played a terrible game today that made Carolina look even better. As much as I want Denver to win, I don't think it'll happen. However I also think it'll be much closer than most of you think... Which was exactly what I thought about NE. Neither team will score above 27

Go Broncos!

Agreed. Denver's D is way too good for me to call a blowout.

Probably a close game, 24-27 Panthers.

Calling it now.

Seattle and Arizona defenses are pretty good also and Carolina hung 80 points combined on the two of them. Any given Sunday etc etc etc, but I think it will be hard for Denver to even keep it competitive. Broncos offense sure didn't look like SB champions these last two weeks.

game, no idea: Denver or Carolina wins in a good or great game.

or

Carolina wins in a bad game.

But those teams defenses did not play well at all during those games. Seattle's D actually stepped up in the second half.

Denver's D played well the entire game, so much so that Brady was the Pats leading rusher.

yeah, it should be really hard to overlook Denver's D after this week.

Arizona just hasn't played well...at all...for the last 3 weeks. Carolina has been on fire, but also almost let Seattle come back from 32 points down...the same (far weaker) Seattle team that they barely beat back in week 4 or 5, whatever it was. point being: Carolina's offense is clicking, but great defenses challenge them.

I don't think Denver even needs to pass rush Carolina all that much. Those guys are big and fast enough to contain Cam behind the line and force him to throw to his "sub-par" receivers, or stop him at the line. It's when you commit to chasing him that you're fucked. Rush him enough to keep him honest, but draw a line in the sand.

The Panthers are the sexy pick, obviously, so I don't really expect people to have any objectivity as regards Denver's D, which is playing like the best D in the NFL.

It seems as if the Panthers need to score a LOT of points to win games in the playoffs, and that's not likely to happen in a couple weeks.
