I can't believe Tebow passed for over 300 yards. This is great stuff. I gotta believe the pats are gonna stomp them. It would seem that the pats could be vulnerable to a team like Denver though. Denver's defense is no joke, while the pats apparently use scarecrows or cardboard cutouts of real players in place of a defense.

This is why I advocate that for each season, there is the option of a division being excluded from playoff contention to free up another spot in a stacked division.

Like the AFC West this year, and the NFC West last year. 😛

On the flip side, both years those representatives won in the wild card round.

I guess ESPN is unwatchable for the rest of the week. It'll be 24/7 Tebow coverage.

New drinking game next week at the Patriots, take a shot each time they show Tebow on the sideline while the Broncos defense is on the field.

You'd be unconscious by the end of the first quarter.

The D is a joke, but Brady usually works against any defense that is not a division rival. That and BB can scheme against him pretty well even with a bad secondary. The only way for Denver to win is if they can make mid game adjustments because if they come out swinging, you know BB is gonna make the fixes, but if they come out dead, they will be forced to have Tebow be a pocket passer and get in to a dual with Brady.

It may have been against a broken Steelers, but a win's a win. I'm shocked

That said this game infuriated me with how stupid the NFL rules are. You can't challenge for a fumble because the dillweed blew the whistle already? Fuck that... if it was a backwards pass that ended in a fumble then it should be called that way and FUCK the whistle. Similar to how some calls can't be overturned for whatever random reason despite the official knowing he fucked up the call (which actually worked FOR the Broncos a couple years back, but still...).

Whatever... despite mistakes I think the Broncos deserved that win. Doubt it would have happened with a healthy Steelers team but it is what it is. 95% chance of getting spanked by the Pats next week, but I'm stunned there even IS a next week.

The Pats just stomped the crap out of them a few weeks ago in Denver. Put up 41 points on their defense, in Denver.

NE's defense gives up a lot of yards (less than GB, and barely more than NO), but they rank somewhere in the low teens for points, and are #2 in interceptions. They are not as bad as everyone makes them out to be, based on ONE stat. Granted, not the greatest defense, but not as bad as everyone keeps saying. Besides, GB has the worst based on yards, and they are gonna be hella tough to beat this year.

If Tebow can win at Foxboro, I will become his biggest fan. I just don't see how they can win though.

no, 21.4, which is good for 15th in the league. pittsburgh and sf give up 'in the low teens' at 14.2 and 14.3.

I guess you don't realize that they already this year and the Pats beat them bad. After giving up a lot of running yards early, the Pats D adjusted and stopped Tebow pretty well and provided the blueprint on how to stop Tebow which every time since has used except the Squeelers.

Four man rush, corners playing man, safeties back and the linebackers/ends keeping Tebow in the pocket. Squeelers decided to play both of there of safeties up in the box and their outside linebackers played undisciplined and allowed Tebow to go around the corner.

If the Pats can score early, Tebow will have to pass and I doubt he'll be very successful playing catch-up like in their first meeting. The Pats D sucks but they play disciplined and don't allow big plays like the Squeelers did.

The best thing about football fans assuming the outcome of games not yet played is that the results can be so hilarious.

The best thing about being a fan of team that barely made the playoffs is that expectations are so low. Win? Awesome! Lose? We weren't that good anyway.

When you lose to a team in the regular season, you make adjustments for the playoff rematch. See: Super Bowl XLII.

I don't expect the Tebows to win, but don't take it for granted.
