So how many people here picked the Jets to win this week against the mighty Pats? Certainly not I.

Lol, well I freaking hate the Jets with a passion, but I'll take my ~$500 win and the hope that the Steelers will absolutely destroy you next round.

I don't know why people are so easy to think that the Steelers will beat the Jets. They suck.

Hell, they are already 4 wins more than they actually had this season. what a bunch of bull.

I don't really like Baltimore (b/c they bore me), but I'm really annoyed they lost that game. :(

when the cheatriots first took the field for the 2010 playoffs, there were only 5 teams still in, after their game they are now 1 of 28 teams watching them like us.

Damn, you Jets fans are sore winners. So, how many Super Bowls did you play in the last decade?

Of course, you sure shut up quickly after the Pats whipped out their junk and slapped you right in your trash-talking mouths a few weeks back.

He was accurate when needed, 3 TD's and to me the back-breaker 50yd+ connection when the Pats had finally scored..

He overthrew a couple of wide-open receivers, and some in tight spots that he should have nailed on plays that would have changed the game drastically.

We're looking at the draft. Pats have the 17th pick and the 32nd and 33rd picks.
Gotta get a pass rusher. And a franchise running back. And a replacement for Logan Mankins.

Oh, btw. The Jets pick will depend on how they finish the playoffs, but not better than about 28th I think.
Their next pick is in the third round, because they traded their second rounder for Cromartie.

They have alot better chance of beating the jets than they do the patriots. Patriots are the steelers kryptonite. Jets will be a tough game, but definitely winnable.

just remember, the jets are now 13-1 when they score an offensive touchdown for the year.

Just remember that all teams are ∞ - 0 when they lead at the end of the game.

Most teams tend to win more when they score offensively

Just got back from the game.

Jets fans are the most obnoxious group of fans ever. They kept picking fights with everyone. The whole game I kept hearing Jets fans telling everyone to STFU and that Brady is a pussy. Cripes, why would you even say that stuff in the opposing team's stadium?

It was a dissapointing loss, but I am not suprised.

Lets put this season is prespective. If you were to tell me that this team would finish with a 14-2 record, i would have laughed in your face. Down the final stretch, they played near perfect football and had everyone believing they were a team that they were not. I truly thought this team would end up at 9-7, 10-6 if they were lucky, but not 14-2. They had me fooled, however. In reality, they lucked out in with snowy Chicago. They just barely got passed Green Bay, and yeah, the Jets beat them earlier in the year. Also, they struggle against the Ravens. The issue, this is the playoffs. Your record only maters enough to get you in. Once you're in, you are 0-0.

To put it simple, I'm not sure what went wrong. Statistically, the Pats were due for turnovers. Brady threw how many passes without an INT? he is bound to throw one sooner or later. The Pats rarely fumble the ball? Well, yeah, they have not lately, so they were due. All this and they were playing one of the top D's in the league. That said, the first two drives, Brady was almost in cruise control, but they only had 3 points to show for it. Suddenly, things just stopped after. Also, I am not sure why, in the 4th quarter, they kept going with running plays when they were down by 10. This is a pass first offense, not a run first. Danny Woodhead is good, but you are not really supposed to give him back to back to back carries. Also, suprisingly enough, the defense did its job. They kept the Pats in the game. I have to hand it to hat young D. It was no the D that lost this game.

Overall, good game plan defensively by the Jets, but against Pitts, you need a better game plan offensively to win.

Here is to the Packers!
