I loved how Kay and the Yes Network were amping up the dramatics after that embarassing inning, showing Jeter looking all pissed off. I bet when he got back to the clubhouse after the game, he threw his hair gel and makeup around, just to prove a point to his teammates. :p

Seriously, WTF is Torre thinking keeping Giambi at 1st, and pinch hitting Tino for the pitcher? I really think him, Mattingly, and Stottlemeyer will be fired by the all-star break. If not, they deserve to be.

They kept showing Cashman on his phone, that was great, I bet he was getting an earful from Georgie.

Hmm...as a Cubs fan, I'm torn. I guess the Yankees winning is a good thing today. Hah, Yankees and Cubs are switching rivals today.

I think Derek has been having a little 'don't ask, don't tell' time with his boyfriend a-rod and they're too exausted to play at a high level. The curse of the a-rod strikes again! :D

This will probably piss alot of you off but I don't really care, I would be honored to take a crap on home plate at the yankess stadium. They're pretty much the reason I hate baseball now.

[Yankee all-star player impression] NO!!! 200 million IS NOT ENOUGH MONEY!!![/Yankee all-star player impersonation]

Doesn't matter which player I'm impersionating, they're all the same anyways......love of the game my @ss....

Yankees are going to build a new stadium and move out of the place that Ruth built?
Awful!
Not that I care much about the Yankees but I think that Wrigley Field, Yankee stadium, and Fenway should never be replaced.

Yeah, the relay throw was dropped so he thought he might have a chance, but the Pitt. infield is too slick.

Randy looks sharp so far, struck out the side in the first, 6 pitches to the first 2 batters.

Jeter leads off with a long double, Matsui goes yard. An immediate 2 run lead for the Yanks.

I guess the old Randy is finally back...darn.... ;)

Matsui is getting hot and probably because he's not on the field and has a resting body..all he's gotta do is swing that bat.

Perez was kinda killed by his defense thought Matsui did cream that ball in the 1st inning...and the Pirates should have won yesterday but the first base umpire miscalled the double play. Randy looked great though but it was very cool today..guess he just needed more time to get back to form.

Now comes the cubbies who have been playing alot better lately. Carlos Zambrano is a great pitcher but he always has some injury problem like blisters or whatever. Not sure who else the cubs will throw at the Yanks. He's hoping Derrick Lee hits a few to those neanderthals in the right field bleachers. ;)
