OMG I AM SO PISSED.
Bottom of the 8th now, Yankees have TWO FVCKING HITS. It's like little leaguers in the majors.
it's ben sheets man.
Oh please. In this slide the Yankees have made every pitcher look like Sandy Koufax.
I wouldn't worry about the Yankees. They'll made the playoffs, like they do every year.
I'm not so sure. This is starting to look like the late '80s. I'm not writing them off yet, but they certainly aren't playing like a playoff team.

Of course the Yankees don't get it done in the clutch, what a fvcking train wreck.
Yanks lose 9 of 10.

I actually thought Jeter would prove how clutch he is (well used to be) and at least have a good at bat, if not bring home the tying run. A weak hit back to the pitcher on the first pitch is pretty pathetic.

I give Jeter a pass. He's sick as a dog. If the Yankees were playing well, he'd probably be sitting out.

You obviously don't watch him play everyday.

Another tough loss for the Yanks. Still should give some credit to Ben Sheets..he should stay with the Brewers for years. Also have to be happy with Pavano as he pitched very well. Yanks can't seem to get that one big hit these days. They have to avoid the sweep tomorrow cause the Cards have a hell of a lineup...then again so do the Yanks.

Arod is twice the shortstop he is, and Jeter won't budge.

Arod is a marginally better shortstop at best. You would have to be a complete phenom shortstop to be twice the ss Jeter is. And who said Jeter was ever asked to move? And why should he? HE is the Yankee shortstop, and Arod understood he would be playing 3rd before he came to the Yanks.

If the Yanks get swept by the Brew Crew someone's head will roll. I guess it would be Stottlemeyer. They don't dare fire Mattingly as he's like a god to fans of the Yanks.

I think Joe is safe...not sure about Cashman.

Mel and Joe are almost like brothers. Firing Mel might cause Torre to resign. It's been spoken about before, and I could see Joe doing that. And Brian Cashman has NOTHING to do with the way the Yankees are playing. He got the players, and all of them have proven track records.
