Weird I never got an email. I must have a typo when I signed up.

Looks like if you go to Xbox.com, log into your account, and click on My Account you can see where they've added the new Xbox Live Market interface for the intertubes.
There's nothing there yet in terms of stuff to buy but they did maintenance on Xbox.com last night and added this. Looks like Impulse Buys are set to stun when the NXE is launched tomorrow.

Ya, it seems kind of stupid to let all the other signees in 2 days before the launch. I don't really care though, just waiting for tomorrow. Will probably go ahead and sign up for Netflix tonight, and I'm seriously considering picking up a 60GB hard drive at Gamestop during lunch....

Didn't know Target had 120 giggers on clearance. Guess I'm going by Target after work. Those drives have the transfer cable in the package, don't they?

Is storing a couple games on the big drive really worth $90+ to you guys?
I just did some cleaning on my 20 gig and now have like 7 gigs free.
I suppose if you download HD movies often, a bigger drive is useful. Or if you want to store more than 1 game.

Maybe someone at Sony should watch the video that Major Nelson posted of the NXE install. It took right around a minute to download and install before you're up and running again. PS3 updates usually set me back 20 minutes.

Well, that must have been nice for Major Nelson... guess that's what happens when you're the only person updating, but that certainly wasn't what happened with me last night.
I logged on and it asked if I wanted to update, so I said yes. Then it did the usual progress bar on the side blade. This part by itself took 3 or 4 minutes. When it was done I thought I was still thinking that was pretty damn fast for the whole NXE... but alas, that was only the beginning. The system rebooted and then it went to the real update. I guess the first update was just the update to get the new update screen. Anyway, the new update screen started and it estimated the time remaining to be 31 minutes. It didn't actually didn't take that long, but I'd say the whole process still took around 20 minutes.
So for those people expecting the update tomorrow, don't expect any 1 minutes updates.

I could see myself getting a 60GB drive but probably not a 120GB. If you use the 25% Live Cashback deal you can get a 60GB drive off eBay for around $50.

And you can get a 120 GB (refurb) using that method for < $70, so why not go all out?

Can anyone explain how to load games to the HD? I don't see the option. Yes, I have NXE.
