How is this any better than Mortal Kombat: Armageddon?

Create a Fighter was like the best feature.

I was hoping for a return of that & maybe a Create an Arena....

Better create a Fatality mode....

I don't see the wow factor in this game....

I mean I will try it out when comes out....

To me Mortal Kombat Trilogy & Armageddon were like the best ones in the series.

Well Shaolin Monks is a fun two player beat em up game.

Wow, they are going back to 2D. The best MK game I played was MKii. It was just pure and perfect, better than MK3. And then they started going 3d and everything just sucked sh*t IMO but I only played a couple of games once they started going 3d because I found them unfun and distracting.

MK2 was the zenith of the franchise and I have never warmed to 3d fighters.
 
so did anybody try the demo? it's on psn today for ps+ subscribers. would love to hear some impressions if someone has.
 
Toastyyyyyyyyyyy! I'll be grabbing the demo after the servers come back up 2moro night and possibly getting the Tournament Edition or whatever it's called on release. My wife loves her some MK.... 😛

MK was awesome when I was a kid, loved it. Nowadays it just seems to have lost its appeal to me. The gameplay seems so limited compared to other games. I mean, how many times in a row can you fight someone before it becomes monotonous?
