I was recently invited to the moola and had a chance to try it out, and from my perspective the site is an ingenious idea, not for the end users like me and you who play the game, but rather for the people who came up with the idea.

So the premise of the site is that you start out with 1 penny and you play a flash game against someone and if you win you win that other person's 1 penny, leaving you with 2 pennies. Then you go to rank 2 where you and the person you play against each bet 2 pennies and if you win you have a total of 4 pennies. And so the trend continues with a maximum cap on the 30th level (which by the way is 10 million dollars) and you can cash out at any point along the way.

However, before you play every round you have to watch and video advertisement which is roughly 20 seconds long then you are asked a question about the ad, if you answer incorrectly you have to watch another until you get the question right, once you get the question right you are then paired up with someone and the game begins.

I have calculated the percentage that anyone would win 30 games in a row to reach the 10million dollar mark; assuming you have a 50% of winning; using bournoulli's equation
P(30) = (30 combination 30)*(.5^30)*(.5^0)
= 9.3*10^-8 % chance of winning 30 games in a row

So while you may never end up rich, the owners of the site will be from the thousands of advertisments that will be watched...
