OhioSt -3.5 (-105)
Navy
Rice 10/18/03 (15:00 ET)
Navy -3.5 (-105)

Do you guys think KC will be able to cover the now 4 point spread, or should I go to Oakland. I know Oakland is due for a win, and that KC has yet to lose, I am just not sure who would be the best choice. Any opinions?

Oakland...

I think this is the first time I will ever want Oakland to win.

Poor Broncos- If it wasn't for some stupid mistakes they should have won today!

KC better win...even if this is the only game Oakland wins for the rest of the season, the dumbassed raiders fans will still think they are the best team in the NFL.

KC will take them by 10 or more. The only reason the spread isn't 7, is because Oakland is at home. Take the sure money and bet KC covering the spread.

I am so hoping Oakland scores a lot of points. I am tied in my fantasy pool this week. The tie breaker will be Janikowski (me) and KC D (him).

It's not looking good, but Oakland has to start playing football sooner or later.

I don't care...as long as the Chiefs' defense scores some major points off turnovers, Hall returns some for TDs, and Charlie Garner has the type of game he was known for last season.

Check the matchup

I think that KC will win and cover to spread. THink Oakland had too many problems. However getting Porter (WR) back will help their offense.

I don't think Broncos would have won with Jake the Snake but Beurleine looked absolutely horrid. He should retire IMO.

regarding the topic on hand. KC in a romp.

I have to disagree with the comment saying the Broncos would have lost even if Plummer had been playing. They only lost by a touchdown with all the stuff that happened to Buerleine (Sacks and turnovers). Plummer was finally getting some respect until he got hurt. I don't really care what other people say but my opinion is that Plummer is a very good QB and has had potential he just needed a team to show it on.

8 pts down after Butthead threw 4 Int's and 6 sacks.. without bombs to Mos Minn has nothing going their way.. the hardest team they faced before us was SF.. once they hit a real team they will fall like a rock

Every fvckin time I bet on Raiders, they alway cost me. Since I am on the positive side this weekend, I'll sit this one out. But if I were to bet I take KC and under.

what a way to lose the game!!! I'm eating a gyro tomorrow in Tuiasasopo's honor...

edit: if you missed it...Oakland was making a last-ditch effort to score with less than 10 seconds left deep in KC territory. Tuisasopo had been throwing strike after strike after strike to keep the drive alive. He throws to Tim Brown who's right on the goal line, but he gets pushed out and the ball never crosses the plane!!! 0:00 on the clock! KC wins!
