as manning throws a TD pass. ;)

Now I just need the Jaguars to go down the field and get a TD and I'll have an extra $100 in my pocket tomorrow. Come on Gray! You can't possibly suck any worse than you have up to this point.

hmmm lets see, Pats beat miami 49 to 28

Colts beat Jaguars 28 to 7 (so far, jaguars might score 8 more points before it's over)

which is the better win?

Well Pats put in backups which led to some of the Miami points, but the Colts playing a much tougher team in a much tougher place... Dunno, tough call, but its hard to overlook 6 TD passes...

colts 6 - 0 opponents 20 - 18 combined record.

pats 7 - 0 opponents 17 - 27 combined record.

you can't ignore this stat forever. people keep saying its too early to look at opponents combined record, but seriously, how can you ignore this big of a difference?

Hmmm let's see, Miami is 0-6.

Jacksonville is 4-1...at least for now.

Yeah, I'd say Indy...or were you agreeing with me?

I agree but I honestly don't believe any team in the NFL sans the Colts can beat the Pats unless they starting putting in subs to make sure starters don't get injured.

I can't say the same thing about the Colts... I'm not looking at their schedule but there are a few teams I would give a chance assuming they show up on game day ready to play, specifically the Steelers, Chargers, Broncos, and the Cowboys.

I see each of those teams having a valid shot at beating the Colts... but not the Patriots.

i'm just glad there are no obnoxious pats fans in this thread yet.

i remember so clearly hearing so many times from pats fans, it doesn't matter how you win as long as you win. (wow, the pats won very very ugly during their 3 super bowl seasons). now they are winning big and the colts are winning ugly, and all we hear from them is that it's not enough just to win anymore.

PLEASE put it in the end zone, that would cover my bar tab from last Friday night!

Don't Jinx.

Don't Jinx.

Respect the opponent's strengths. This is still another tough game for the Colts and it appears they have it wrapped up. Not over till 00:00, but still looks like a Colts win.

Against a very worthy opponent.

PaulNEpats? Where you at?

I'm not a Pats fan...unless they're playing the Cowboys.

Colts beat the Pats in the playoffs last year and won the Superbowl. You'd think that would be enough to shut the Pats fans up huh? ;)

They moved down the field pretty well that last drive... I just can't help but wonder if Garrard had been in if they would have won me the pool. I'm sure they still would have lost but might have gotten that last TD.

I think he could have came back but Garrard was kept out of the game because the coach gave up and considered it a loss and didn't want to risk further injury.

Colts fans: Enjoy your win. It pains me to say this but it was a very impressive win. I thought Jax would put up much more of a fight.

See you in two weeks!

Go Colts! Tough win. A few things:

- On their one scoring drive, the Jags ran the ball what, 7 times in a row? 8? Why was Del Rio not doing this all game?
- Reggie Wayne was enjoying having Harrison back to take some of the double coverage away.
- Dallas Clark is having a Pro Bowl season
- The Colts are a much more complete team than last season.
- Tony Kornheiser brought up Tom Brady and the Patriots* on at leasts 6 separate occasions, out of the blue, for no apparent reason other than because he loves to fondle TB's balls. For the Monday Night Football Colts vs. Jags halftime show, Berman basically said "screw the game tonight, I'm gonna go through each of Brady's TDs this year!" Later we'll hear that half of the ESPN MNF crew were airlifted to Jacksonville Memorial to have their collective stomachs pumped.
- Kenton Keith is just as good or better than Dominick Rhodes, and is a perfect compliment to Addai
- It's a shame a defensive powerhouse like the Jags can't have a good or even decent coach to lead them. Del Rio is a piece of trash. I love beating the Jags.
- The Colts being under the radar is a good thing.

Possible trap game next week for the Colts, coming off a tough road win against the biggest division rival, looking ahead to the Pats* in two weeks, the Panthers shouldn't trip them up. Shouldn't.

Waaah. Everyone was sucking on Manning's sack in 2004. You're just jealous they moved on to someone else with a bigger c*ck. ;)
