I don't know if anyone else has done the "gauntlet" yet but I finally finished it last night. It was pretty damn tough and I thought it was going to end multiple times but then there was more. But once you get through the parts you had trouble with before, the next time around it's not so tough. But damn I'm glad I finished it. Very damn cool too, very well done. And the prize for beating it is pretty sweet too.

I'm up around like 450 moons now. I played my Switch in portable mode last night while watching TNF until it literally died in my hands. Mario is extremely addicting to me trying to collection the moons.

I watched The Completionist's video on Odyssey, and apparently, you can go all the way up to 999 moons. Although, it sounds like there are only 800-something that you can find, and the rest have to be purchased... or something like that.

Yeah I'm at like 515 or so probably. I plan on getting at least 800 hopefully at some point. I'm still not bored in the least with the game.

Played some more last night and am up to 786 moons now.

Never underestimate the power of children with large amounts of free time on their hands:

Yup. I was hearing complaints on the last snow day that the number wouldn't go above 999 :D

I've been using hint Toad a lot when I have like 10-20 stars left just depending which level I'm on, so I'm not really stacking up coins. I've constantly been lingering around like 4500-5200 or so and still need to buy some of the more expensive outfits. But I purposefully haven't been playing it much at home because I really enjoy playing Mario when I travel and on flights, it makes the time go by so fast. I just played it again last night because a few days earlier my bro in law wanted to see it so I showed him and just got back into the groove of things then had the urge to continue last night.

After you beat the game, Odyssey is basically like Assassin's Creed, with funner graphics...it's just fun to wander around & see all of the random stuff they put in the game.

I don't know how they're going to top this with the next release. It's really great!

Hey, the newest Assassin's Creed that takes place in Ancient Egypt, it's actually really fun. It's what I've been playing since Mario Odyssey.
Assassins Creed lost me long ago. With my limited gaming time it's very doubtful I'd ever play that franchise again. It looks very generic at this point. I'd rather spend my gaming time playing something I know I'd enjoy.
