i must say that last nights episode was really good. I really enjoyed it. There was alot going on in Sawyer's life and it was just an all around great episode. Also the scenes from the next one show us that there is obviously someone else on the island. it also looks like it will be a good episode :)

one thing though, I got a little confused at the end of the episode last night when the chick and sawyer were talknig about the letter and how he wrote it to himself. I was lost by that whole part. So it wasn't the little boy that wrote it when he was in the house and screwed up the deal once he saw that other blond chick had a kid?

can someone please elaborate? thanks.

Yeah, "Sawyer" (or whatever his real name is now) wrote it himself when HE was a little boy - after he realized the real Sawyer was responsible for the death of his parents. When "Sawyer" saw the little boy in the house, he realized he was about to become the person who had screwed up his ("Sawyer's") life and thus cut off the deal.

OOOOoohhh okay NOW i get it. so basically his dad killed his mom because she was cheating, then he killed himself, and he wrote that letter to give to the guy if he ever saw him. Now I got it, thanks :)

I still think they ended up in the Bermuda Triangle... It's a good show, but not Smallville quality. The chicks are hot though. I'm waiting to see how long it takes for the fat guy to get killed. Otherwise, after a few more shows he'll have to lose a hell of a lot of weight. Also, that chinese dude really annoys me.

heard on z100 radio this morning from a caller...

from the previews, it looks like the person who "captures Sayid" is a woman ... cause we saw b00bs. And the only unknown woman left on the island... the supposed French woman who left the transmission.

secondly, this island is all about fears... because Sayid, as a soldier, has the biggest fear of... being captured.

I can't think of another example where they go on about peoples fears. It seems to me it's more about people getting what they really wanted out of life.

Another one that sticks out right now.. Jack was always afraid of leading or taking control.

It can be a spin off a "fear" like you indicate... but I doubt getting captured was what Sayid wanted. ;) Of course there is a lot left to be told... and it was just a guess...

It's a great show. I didn't think it would be as good as it is. I'm sure glad I TiVo'd it! I actaully watched it at 3am last night holding my daughter (cranky night) But I don't know why I told anyone that, like you care... :)

I think you said that about the french woman in a previous LOST thread, but you never said how you got this information actually confirmed... was just speculation to all of us.

I think that will be in the next episode, since from the previews of it, it seems like the next episode is going to focus on that dude.

I'm still waiting for the fat dude's backstory. That should be fun - he's my favorite character. :)

And where's the silent black lady that was all by herself on the beach? She hasn't been around for awhile.

Didn't she die in the water? Jack didn't save her but chose to save the other guy? Wait? Who was that?

i dunno why, but i didnt really enjoy last nights episode, there were some good points, but i never really cared about sawyer and it was all side story, nothing new about the island itself

I too fell into the "hate" for Sawyer, but I love how they went into his past - gives a new angle to his character.

Some things happened...
1. PG chick is hooking up with druggie washed up rock star
2. Tension between Korean guy and the black guy - might prove to be good for the wife
3. Dr's evil (animalistic) side is coming out a bit.

Lots happened

i'm SO freaking addicted to this show now, it's NOT good.

sayid terrifies me. anyone that's a member of the iraqi national guard. *shiver* he seems like a good guy though but can torture you to death.

according to my bf, the korean guy speaks horrible korean. the korean girl though... she's aged so much in the last six years... i saw her in shiri and she looks so different in this one.

As rh71 mentioned earlier, he (Daniel Dae Kim) used to be the head counterterrorist tactical guy on 24. He spoke perfect, normal English in that show, so I'm guessing he had to learn how to speak Korean for Lost. :)
