The Beginning of the End
Thu Jan 31 11/10c

Feeling that their rescue is close at hand, the survivors don't know whether to believe Charlie's final message that the people claiming to liberate them are not who they seem to be. The band of friends, family, enemies and strangers must continue to work together against the cruel weather and harsh terrain if they want to stay alive. But as they have discovered during their 70-plus days on the island, danger and mystery loom behind every corner, and those they thought could be trusted may turn against them. Even heroes have secrets...

List your Grand Theories here before it starts :)

are you confusing Battlestar Galactica's webisodes with the Lost series? I wasn't aware of any webisodes for Lost.

ok let me spoil this...

As they make their way toward the boat, they happen into a Dharma Initiative bunker. Inside, they find that experiments were done here but were halted due to safeguards that initated due to a containment breach years ago. Everyone is wondering what was being conducted here so Hurley enters the numbers into the terminal. Suddenly the island begins to shake as some started to exit the bunker to see what's going on outside. As they exited, out in the open field, they noticed that the ground was starting to split and a heard a loud growl(like in the previous seasons). The next thing you know Clover, a giant tentacle like creature crashes out from the ground below and hops into the sea destroying the tanker that was supposed to rescue the lostees and disappeared into the horizon. Meanwhile inside the bunker as they are trying to figure out what's going on with the terminal, they managed to navigate into a map that is tracking the monster... it is headed to New York.

Except I have darts on Thursdays and I'll miss it. Ah well, didn't get cable for a year in college so thank god for torrents. Although you can watch them online now anyway.

hehehe I get to enjoy Lost in HD this year thanks to them including HD digital basic channels for QAM-capable displays. :D Last year, for the second half of the year I had a HD-antenna but strangely absent in that dorm was access to ABC, it didn't even catch it as a channel.

Can't wait. The only good thing out of the writer's strike is that there's no chance I'll need to choose between two shows cause everything else is in re-runs:).

As bad as I would like to see season 4 begin, I think it's a mistake tor run 8 episodes and then at some unknown point, run the next 8 to finish the season. :|

I don't want Lost to end up like Jericho. Forgotten about due to a long absence and then ended abruptly with no real ending. Yes, Jericho is coming back for 7 episodes, but Lost had planned 48 more and ending it there. A bit of difference there.

Nice, HD ftw. I think it'll be a bit before I get an HD set... just bought a 22" SDTV for like $130 and I wouldn't wanna spend any more, haha.

just got done going thru season 3. Forgot how truly awesome season 3 finale was! Some of the best stuff on TV. Did anyone figure out who died in the flash-forward in those two episodes (Through the looking glass)? Who's funeral did Jack visit?
