I've already installed the 0123 build of LineageOS on my OPO. It obviously very like the unofficial build I was running previously but there have been some under the hood changes that make it such that you can't just flash it over the top of LOS or even CM now. You can either install the experimental build and then flash the regular build on top of that (experimental) or just wipe and install the regular build from scratch (what I did).

Only select devices have builds ready to download but Jenkins is working it's butt off and more are coming soon. Check it out here: https://download.lineageos.org/

Looks like the Nexus 6p has an official version too. Very little information on their webpage though... what does this offer? What does it look like?

It looks exactly like CM14.1 currently. They got more of the traces of Cyanogen out of the software and there is a new OTA system. Imagine stock Android.

I haven't used CM for a very long time, so I was hoping to find more info on the site. I'll try to dig into it later to see what was different in CM. Basically I'm trying to decide if it's worth trying when I already have stock android on my 6p, but if the goal was to try and make CM closer to stock then I'll just stick with stock.

Eventually we'll get a theming engine added back in, that would be one advantage of LOS over stock. And the ridiculous ease of rooting and modifying things would be another advantage.
