So it lists GPS, is the GPS in the wifi models now or the same BS as before?
There's 2 lists. The list on the rightmost side is for the 3G model. No AGPS in the WiFi model again, looks like.

99% of users don't take iPad on vacation and want to upload files from their camera SD card or want to drive Netflix to a big screen TV?
$499? RIP Xoom?
The original iPad outsold Android tablets and they went up in price with the Xoom.
RIP anything but the iPad, given current prices. No, I'll amend that, the Nook Color for $200 still looks like a good value.
No hi-res screen. No iPad 2 for me. See you next year when the ipad 3 hits. Assuming an Android tablet doesn't hit with my required specs before then and at a palatable price. I stated this was one of my major requirements for a tablet and I'm sticking to my word.
I for one won't use an ipad only because i don't like the app store rules.
Nook color is enough for me.
But >99% of buyers don't care about the app store rules, or that it doesn't have a 1080p display, for $500 this thing will dominate... or, to be more precise, it'll continue to dominate. Motorola and the rest had a chance to get their foot in the door, but Apple just slammed it shut in their faces, again.
And no, I don't own other Apple things, except my phone, but I'll sure as hell be buying a $429 iPad 2 (when they hit the refurb store).

Amen to that, they should have guessed that this was coming and started their tab at $400.moto slammed the door on itself when the announced the pricing of the xoom
I completely agree that 99% of consumers don't care about the rules. Doesn't mean that I will buy one. To be honest I really really don't need a tablet at all, just the nook is an incredible device for $250.
LOL wut? All blackberry devices for the last seven years have done that. The cover is pretty badass. Wake from sleep when you remove it? I have never seen a cover do that before.
Just curious, what do you want a hi-res screen for?
