Hasn't been determined yet but I think it will be ~ a 600Mhz cpu.

<< Very Important Question for Me: Will the new Card physically and electrically fit into an "old" AGP 2x slot ? because i do not want to upgrade my BX board ...

Related to the previous questions. I'm using a PIII running at 533Mhz (133Mhz fsb) and my AGP slot is 2X. Will I be able to use the new card? If yes, will the above mentioned specs affect it's performance (and to what extend will that be)?

It will physically fit into a 2x slot. Electrically, we haven't determined if we will support it or not becuase we would like to have it working on a 2x.4x.8x system.

Our drivers won't block any installation based on the motherboard. I don't know to what extent a lower cpu will affect performance.

Depends on what cpu they are referring to. If a Celeron 600 is required that's pretty low.

You would spend more for the video card than your system would cost to do a serious upgrade?
