I realized that I've been a member of this forum for 17 years, which is slightly over half of my entire life at this point. I think this qualifies me for Old Man status, just like BoomerD!
This forum and the main page actually had a significant influence on the path my life has taken. I used to obsess over the latest CPU/GPU releases and loved reading the Anandtech articles and debating on the forum about the latest and greatest. That interest led me to get a Computer Engineering degree and now I work at a chip company that's somewhat regularly featured on the Anandtech main page. Thanks Anand!
I was a bit of a social misfit in my teens (nowadays I can at least pretend to be somewhat normal), and appreciated being able to come here and feel like I fit in somewhere. Thank you everyone for tolerating me and for all of the entertainment over the many years.
It's amazing how it just sneaks up on you...one minute, you're 16 years old...next minute, you're in your 60s and wondering where the fuck did the years go?Got old, never saw that coming.
Never grow up.
Working my way back to diapers...

WTH? I think you and Boomer have your nicknames backwards, lol. I assumed you were a bit older...oldsmoboatTurned 65 this month.
But not too young to do your mom...You're all still too young to be my parents.
She's not looking for anything. Unlike me, she has the decibels of a rock concert and the ability to drag out a conversation to the point of exhaustion. You'll be killed. But not too young to do your mom...
I have a number of relatives like that, but thankfully they're extended family. There's been occasions that I won't go to some family thing because they'll be present. It gets to the point I just want to tell them to STFU, lol. She's not looking for anything.
