Ahhh....its refreshing to talk about teams like the Lions, Raiders, and even Kansas City (who plays tonight) this late in the year.

Sure, teams like the Pats and Broncos are still in the mix, but its good to take the focus off the staples of the NFL and be pleasantly surprised. Here are the games, and my picks:

Tonight
Oakland at Kansas City

SUNDAY, DEC. 11
Pittsburgh at Buffalo 1:00 pm
San Diego at Carolina 1:00 pm
Cincinnati at Cleveland 1:00 pm
Chicago at Detroit 1:00 pm
Houston at Indianapolis 1:00 pm
Minnesota at Jacksonville 1:00 pm
Arizona at Miami 1:00 pm
Washington at Philadelphia 1:00 pm
New Orleans at Tampa Bay 1:00 pm
Denver at Tennessee 1:00 pm
N.Y. Jets at San Francisco 4:05 pm
Seattle at Green Bay 4:25 pm
Atlanta at L.A. Rams 4:25 pm
Dallas at N.Y. Giants 8:30 pm

MONDAY, DEC. 12
Baltimore at New England 8:30 pm

Betting against the Chiefs lately is a bad idea. They have been finding ways to win, even when odds are against them.

That Thursday Night Football song is terrible. I wonder what the intersection of people who watch football and people who like that band looks like.

Don't you mean Twitter? This is the best thing about Twitter. Free streaming of Thursday night football.

Tyreek looks like he's moving at superhero speed out there compared to Raider defense.

verizon mobile has free streaming of TNF and other games throughout the year, works real well. Derek Carr played like Derek Crap, you can tell his hand is bothering him.

i tried the twitter stream as well and it woked decently too, i hope the nfl goes to more streaming availability.

I'd pay $250/yr for the ability to watch any game online.

Good game tonight. Bold choice picking the Ravens over the Pats.
Admittedly, I've been a long time Ravens fan, and will pick them regardless their opponent, unless that opponent is the Lions.

I am still not a believer in KC come playoff time, but they have proven a lot and quietly are the best team in their division.

What if you weren't charged a timeout on a challenge which was merely upheld and not verified? Think the danger of corruption would outweigh the benefits?

Imagine that, more obvious no calls on the Seahacks. PI? Sure was, but let's not call it.

Looking at the schedule Lions have two really lose-able games coming up at Dallas and the Giants. Green Bay has two really winnable games against da Bears and Minnesota. That would make them both 9-6 with a winner-take-all showdown in the last game.

Assuming Rodgers is okay. Something's going on with him.

Well, the season is over for New Orleans. I've got to wonder if a coaching change is coming. LSU seems unable to get a QB and the Saints seem unable to get a defense. I guess I'm pulling for Dallas now? I like Jason Garrett, Dak Prescott, and Ezekiel Elliott, so that seems like a thing. It's more about rooting against certain teams at this point.

Seahawks are sucking it up despite their cheapshots and personal fouls. I'm enjoying GB taking them apart + their own self destruction

They seem so up and down. They're unable to consistently perform. I like Russell Wilson, but I don't mind seeing some of their players humbled a little.

I'm pretty sure that watching the NFL games on VZW doesn't actually use data, it's one of their benefits they have with the NFL.
