the real bowl season begins with the holiday bowl, at Big 12 #2 or #3 against PAC 10 #2.
 
It's an embarassment to the BCS system that the #6 team in the nation is playing in the Holiday Bowl. Oregon should've declined their bowl invitation.

This is Oregon we're talking about here.

The PAC-10 has 1 good team. Oregon played them this year and looked what happened to them. They weren't even in the same league as them.

And how many sponsors want to have a team with uniforms like that in their bowl game? 😀

 
Yeah, why does Oregon have to lower themselves to play that scrub team Sooners! Oh, wait, those scrubs seem to be winning 10-7. Looks like Oregon has their hands full.

I feel no ill will for Oregon. In fact, I'm pulling for them to come back and beat OU, but there is absolutely no doubt they have the ugliest colors and uniforms in all sports.

As much as I hate Carolina and their baby blue and Duke and their Duke blue, green and flourescent yellow is the worst combination... EVER.

It has nothing to do with the quality of the opponent. Oregon was a top 10 team. They were the number 6 team in the nation and they didn't make a BCS bowl because of the lame system.

The fact that they're blowing right now doesn't disprove any of that. Hindsight is always 20-20.
 
i'm not sure peterson wasn't down there. unfortunately the camera zoomed in so you couldn't see if he had fallen to the ground yet, but there was no player underneath him. he had rollen off and was falling to the ground when the ball was pulled out.

It's not hindsight when every armchair sportsfan and anyone who's watched college football this year knows they are THE most overrated team other than BYU a few years ago that we have to hear about not making it to a BCS bowl game. That's why their in the bowl game they are! No hindsight needed. 🙂

It's already been mentioned about K-State. The preseason cupcake schedule kings. 😀

I don't either. I even felt a little bad for them until I heard their fans. They have no clue how bad their team really is and base it only on won-loss. I hope Oregon doesn't come back to beat Oklhoma but even if they do, they barely beat an unranked team.

As far as the uniforms comment...I am just joking around and having fun. Yes, I think their uniforms suck but I thought that's what men do, talk bs about sports whether we're right or wrong. I don't mean any ofense in this thread and am only having fun.

My fav alltime team since 1984 in football is the Gators. They are down now so have fun saying stuff about them. 🙂 I love bs'ing about sports and hope you or anyone else don't take it serious. 🙂

Say what you will, but they always end up with a respectable SOS by the end of the year. Often top 10. And probably one of the few teams to have beat USC TWICE in the past 5 years.
 
well that ball was so far out of bounds not even yao ming could have caught it in bounds.
