1. Is picking a different character that big of a deal? I remember they did that in Halo 2, and it was kind of a problem because Elites have bigger heads and were easier to get headshots on.
2. How do you know what the customization options are for the whole game?
3. Why is sprinting bad, because it's different? Is it so awful to think a supersoldier can run?
4. Which mode(s), and are you sure it's gone and not just not shown off yet?
That this thread's starting on a major bias, considering it's just a list of complaints.
5. Bungie is working on that massive nightmare known as Destiny. Do you really want those DLC clowns back that badly? I mean, that game was such a colossal disappointment for so many people, and it's trying to be the overpriced pain of an MMO without any of the positives. Oh, and they started the sprinting and loadout stuff people bemoaned with Reach, so I'm again confused why you'd root for Bungie's return.
This feels less like Halo 5 discussion, and more like Halo 5 whining just because. I hate this idea that because sprinting wasn't in shooters 10-15 years ago with regularity, it shouldn't exist. Heaven forbid we go towards realism and logical combat, because everything has to be Counter-Strike, right?
Now, how about some actual pros AND cons, so it's a bit balanced?
Pros:
1. 20 launch maps (vs. 10 for Halo 4), and 15+ DLC maps (vs. 9 for Halo 4). Oh, and the DLC maps are FREE (vs. $25 for Halo 4, another thing Bungie started, by the way).
2. Server stability in the beta was pretty good, and not having the jumbled mess of multiplayer servers from TMCC (they explained that they basically had to port several online systems and make them run together, causing a lot of the connectivity problems) means online experiences should be a lot better.
3. It's Halo, and I was fine with it in the beta.
4. Ordinance and full-on loadouts seem to be gone.
Cons:
1. More pushing of massive online game types, which I'm not crazy about.
2. Breakout's a bit of a mess of a game type, and they really need to remove grenades from it.
3. $250 Collector's Edition had the audacity to include a digital copy of the game, not the disc, and yet they still give you a steelbook to put nothing in.
