I didn't any other thread regarding this. Hopefully, this will be in HD with DD 5.1

The opening act will be Madonna and Gorillaz.

Good god how is mariah nominated or even winning grammies. Her new music is HORRIBLE, actually it probably doesn't even need to be said that it all is. I see no MIA even mentioned for any hip hop award, even though it has both critical acclaim/commercial success and is definently comparable to Kanye (who is probably the only deserving musician besides arcade fire nominated). Oh man.. where else to go. No Sufjan Stevens, but fallout boy nominated for best new artist? That's just the tip of the iceberg (other notables like Antony and The Johnsons and New Pornographers deserve note as well) . Furthermore, how in the heck are Black Eyed Peas nominated not just once, but six times? I mean this is the oscar equivalent "Battlefield Earth" being nominated. It's absolutely mindboggling how much better the independent music scene is than mainstream these days.

Grammys are absolute BS awards. Not just now, but always. How about that it took until 1968 for the beatles to win a single award? Or Celine Dion over OK Computer?
