Add your google search tips to this thread, and maybe we'll all learn something.

My tips:

to search for something in the title of the website, do intitle:titlehere
or to search for something in the body of the document, do inbody:texthere

also, use quotes for words that must be linked together, like "i am gay" or "omg wtf"

To search a particular site use site😀omain.ext query

example: site:forums.anandtech.com repost

I'll actually add something that's been useful for me, and that's metric conversions. Just type what measurement you have, then type "to *", with the * being whatever measurement you want to know.

For example, I have a box that is 2 feet long, and I want to know what that is in meters. Just type, without quotes of course, "2 feet to meters", or another random measurement, "3 liters to gallons". Google will pop up an answer, along with any relevant search findings just in case. This works with linear measurements, liquid measurements, whatever. Has came in handy for me several times.
