but it should be obvious if it's a elite duo because the keyboard has the scrollwheel on the left side of the keyboard..

There we go, now everyone can check to see if they really got a Elite......although I highly doubt Logitec is sending out 2000, I mean 1999 mis-labeled/boxed Elite Duos....

you're right..it doesn't have the scroll wheel on the right or left, but other than that it's identical, and that seems to be the only thing different than the navigator and elite duo, unless i'm missing something. no big deal about the scroll wheel!

only thing different is the way the mouse is shipped. from the pics on logitechs website, it's kind of contoured for rightys.

yeah, i just put it in the light a second ago and saw the notch under there that I could pull up with something small..no way I could of done that with my hands.

logitech gave away 20,000 on dec. 20th to commemorate their 20th (? i dont remember. just it was free) anniversary. cool huh? with alittle luck and alot of refreshing, i was able to snag one.

I got it setup, it is awesome! I wish I could change the Media button, because I had to change Messenger/SMS to load PowerVCR(to watch TV)..oh well. I am addicted to wireless stuff, now I need some wireless headphones!

Edit: Is it better to have it hooked up via USB or PS2? How do you have yours?

i didnt check, but i think it's usb.. (tested it on a dell machine i have that also has a logitech wireless keyboard/mouse setup (mouse isnt optical thuogh)

if i recall though, when i used my partitionmagic boot disks to do some partitioning, it doesnt recognize the mouse when it's connected to the usb port.

doesnt the keyboard properties allow you to assign/change the hotkeys to something other than the default?

the iTouch software lets you change all of the buttons except F-Lock, user, Media, Mute, and the play/fast forward button. I am posting while lying in bed now..i can't even read what i'm typing..this is so frickin awesome!!!!!! I am so buying wireless headphones

lol! sounds like you're really enjoying the keyboard/mouse..

im probably going to use it on my bros laptop so i dont have to worry about dropping it while surfing/watching dvds when connected to the tv..
