Lets see if he will crash and burn with Chris Paul.

In other Hornets news, Magloire was traded!

why do the stupid bucks trade for another center the day after i take bogut? ugh.
it sounds like joneal might get center eligibility though, so i win and lose.

DS takes You Can Call Me Al Jefferson

You also 'win' with Mason being traded away from the Bucks. More PT for Bill Simmons. 😛

I could use some advice. We had an auto draft in a seperate league and here's how my picks wound up:

R. Lewis (Sea - SF)
L. Ridnour (Sea - PG)
V. Carter (NJ - SG,SF)
T. Duncan (SA - PF,C)
E. Okafor (Cha - PF,C)
M. Camby (Den - C)
A. Walker (Mia - SF,PF)
S. Jasikevicius (Ind - PG,SG)
R. Jefferson (NJ - SF)
S. Abdur-Rahim (Sac - SF,PF)
S. Jackson (Ind - SG,SF)

League is set up with the following positions: PG, SG, G, SF, PF, F, C, Util for each day playing.

Obviously I'm loaded in Centers. Very loaded. I slightly weighted my draft pics for multi position ability hence the somewhat odd draft pics. I'm VERY light on PG's. I don't even have a top 10 PG. Any suggestions on who (or who's) I should wheel and deal for a halfway decent PG? I'm sitting on arguable the best center in the league with Duncan, with two other top 10 centers in the way of Okafor and Camby.

Any thoughts on who I should try and dump to get a better PG?

Is this H2H? Which stat categories is your league using?

Yes, head to head. 12 teams.

Recorded stats are: FG%, FT%, 3PTM, PTS, REB, AST, ST, BLK, TO, PF

jasikevacius? who?

i hope you had 20 managers in the league to end up with a roster like that. 😛

The draft was an autopick and we had no idea on the draft order. It makes it virtually impossible to try and tailor your pics.

In the first round I missed AI by one pick. In the second round I missed Kidd by one pick.

Bah!

Jasikevacius is my gamble. I picked him up off the wire. He's an all star that moved over from Europe. He's a devistating 3 point bomber and is playing second fiddle to the injury prone Tinsley in Indy. He's done very well in the preseason. I dropped Prizbilla for him since I was stacked in centers.

Its a decent team but I would try to deal Duncan away (horrible FT%) Walker (TOs, horrible FG%) and Ridnour. Maybe Duncan for Marion straight up (but then again...I wouldn't trade that straight up) and Walker and Ridnour for Andre Miller or Chris Paul.

R. Lewis (Sea - SF) not bad
L. Ridnour (Sea - PG) eh
V. Carter (NJ - SG,SF) not bad
T. Duncan (SA - PF,C) not bad
E. Okafor (Cha - PF,C) not bad
M. Camby (Den - C) ok
A. Walker (Mia - SF,PF) bleh
S. Jasikevicius (Ind - PG,SG) horrible
R. Jefferson (NJ - SF) not bad
S. Abdur-Rahim (Sac - SF,PF) ok
S. Jackson (Ind - SG,SF) not bad

tell us what point guards are available and we'll tell you who to take. Tell your commissioner to fix his stat categories too. You need him to get rid of PF and add FGM and FTM.

You're going to lose FT% every week, but you might do ok in FG%, REB, and BLK
