I watched it but I think it should have been a half hour instead of an entire hour. Tho, I doubt bush would have talked or leveled with the public the way Obama has.

I felt he did a really good job... If it were bush, bush would have had no clue as usual what was going on. I think this is great...

I also believe the reason why this stimulus package is being voted down by a lot of republicans is because they aren't getting any money to line their own pockets and agenda. This is a good thing since most of the money will truly go to the public instead. If this wasn't change then everyone would agree with it readily and it would be business as usual. People that think change is easy. Well, it's not, it's probably one of the msot difficult things one can do. I believe why it was so easy for bush to get things past is because of the hidden pay outs that these assholes got for voting it in. Take it away and almost no one will vote for it.

Yeah, I hear Obama likes a good joke.

You mean we should send him Specop007's posts about how the revolution is about to start again, again, again, again, again and again x infinity?

I think Harvey is one of the few who actually gets it and his heart is in the right place, while we're struggling with less than 20k troops in the heart of terrorism in Afghanistan/Pakistan they have their excellent adventure that amounts to nothing in Iraq.

I agree with each and every word Harvey says on this matter and i do so for a damn good reason.

Thanks. I'm aware of that.

To be more precise, Obama is bit the same lying, fear mongering, asswipe as Specop 007's EX-Traitor In Chief and his gang. I won't be over those POS until they're indicted and tried for their crimes.

The good news on the subject of their crimes is, I just heard Obama say he supports upholding the rule of law and that no one is above the law. He said, although he intends primarily to look forward, he supports prosecution where there is clear evidence of crimes.

This is what I mean Harvey. You're so rabidly insane whenever your Community Organizer thats in now fucks up your going to resort to the "BUT BUSH!! BUT BUSH!!"

Bullshit! YOU are the one who said, "Meet the new boss boys, same as the old boss." That means YOU are the one who yelled, "BUT BUSH!! BUT BUSH!!"

As I replied to to GenHoth, I disagree with you on that. Obama is the direct opposite of "the old boss," your EX-Traitor In Chief.

Well I would expect your rabid partisanship to blind you to the lies and deceit of the Community Organizer. Its expected. You may want to seek some professional help though man cause I think you're more rabid and incensed then Dave.

The simple fact is Obama is taking plays right from Bushs playbook. Fear fear fear and spend spend spend.

The difference will be that Obama is learning from the mistake that Bush made and handed out money like it was candy to the rich...oh, maybe that wasnt a mistake.

18 billion in bonus'....WF uses 12 billion to buy CW....and gets massive tax incentives on top of it.

Doesn't matter if the Republicans vote for it or not. It will pass.
A better gamble for the Republicans is to vote against it then hope for the stimulus to fail and rebound in 2010.

Fair enough. Maybe we should all discuss whether we want to be called comrade or brother before Obama is done though?

On another note

You done your rotations in and out yet?

That is what I voted for. If anything, I think he should add more immediate spending and take out some tax cuts that are going to be too slow to help and just add to deficit.

this is what i voted for as well, although i would urge less cooperation with obstructionists.

But, my point is. If it were a bush policy. Then More money would be going to the public with an Obama policy. Tho, that really isn't the scope, the point here is that Obama did a great job. I think he is real and I think he is trying to do the right thing. Unlike our other president. This mess is not going to change in a hearbeat and I give him a lot of credit for trying to do the right thing.

You have to admit it sure is better then doing the "WRONG" thing for the last 8 years.

It was truly refreshing to have a President who answers in more than soundbites, who actually addresses (in depth) ALL parts of a multipart question asked of him and who's answers show an actual deliberative, analytic thought process at work as opposed to application of approved doctrine only.

He's moving the standards of the game up-if the GOP want to have any meaningful input in the governmental process (or just as significantly, any support from the American electorate) they are going to go beyond obstructionism and repeating party doctrine as if it is gospel.

Yeah, with the search function broken and me being in a place where i can't even use google that is going to be hard to find.

But both you and i know about you screaming for a revolution several times so i don't get why you are lying about it.

But ok, if you so wish, i'll concede and accept that you never uttered a word about any revolution in your posts that i can show.

Doesn't really matter you are still a stupid fucking twat and we both know why you are.

Talk about a bunch of cupcake reporters asking a bunch of pussified questions and he still stumbled through half of them......I would have been particularly interested if someone had asked him about the whole census issue and why he thinks its better for Rahm to handle it then it is to let it be handled the way it has the last 250 years or so.......

One that incorporated a long term objective rather than a short term feel good fix that doesn't really stimulate anything but provide short term jobs with no idea of where to go when those expire that depend solely on the outside worlds economy. The problem with this package is it places all its faith in the rest of the world.
