It was ok...or at least as good as this type of movie could be.
If you enjoyed 'Starship Troopers', they you'll like this kind of movie.

I just got back from this movie. it was better than I expected it to be honestly. The Rock did a great job IMO. he really played a badass marine. everytime he said "fvcking" it just seemed so real, cause he usually said it really pissed off.

i personally think this movie is his best acting job. and all in all, the movie was very entertaining. it wont win oscars, but its a fun movie.

for a video game movie, i would say its one of the best video game movies. it is definitely up there w/Mortal Kombat and Resident Evil in my book.

and the FPS camera angle was badass! i really enjoyed that part big time! but by the end of that scene with it, i was ready for it to be done. it started moving around too much and i wanted it to back to normal.

I'm looking forward to see it, if for nothing else then the sheer cheese of it all... it's based a video game for crap's sakes... how good can it possibly be?? Anyone going into this movie with a thought on it winning an Oscar should be summarily removed from the Census..
