So I soldered the wires to my PCB today, and I think it went pretty well. As I described before, almost every contact has a very small hole in the center of it, and I was able to stick 22 gauge wire directly into it. So on most contacts, I inserted the wire up through the bottom, and soldered on top. The only ones I wasn't able to do this with was the shoulder bumpers, the ground next to the right trigger, and the A button.
I did have a little mishap with the X button. Too much solder got over on the other part of the contact. I tried reheating it and removing it, but there's still a bit there, but I can't tell if it'll be a problem or not.

You can kind of see it in this pic. Is there any way I can test this (and other) connections without having my pushbuttons yet? Or am I resigned to waiting it out until they come in the mail?
EDIT: Just realized I forgot to solder wires for the triggers.
On the slagcoin pic, it says "Set triggers to neutral." What does that mean?
