wait what did they do with passwords? you only needed 1 for SC2 and WoW
Some advice for gpu temps in this game.
Make sure you did not uncheck the max foreground and background boxes in video settings.
I had unchecked the boxes and was seeing my temps fly to 63C or so just sitting at the login screen and was trying to figure out why my fan was so loud. I have a 120hz monitor so I set the max foreground to 130(+10 over your refresh rate, for some reason it limits it 10 below of what you set) and background to like 5. This helped my temps quite a bit and now my fan isnt crazy loud.
Something I noticed just now: max foreground at 60fps, game limited at 50fps. lol really?
I also think that was screwing with my SLI setup. I'd test in game to see if max settings can now be properly enabled (with AO), like should be possible for my 560 Ti (2GB) SLI setup, but... yeah.
I started tonight and played for 30 minutes before the servers shutdown.
I guess I'll try again tomorrow night.
Game is pretty ugly on my Radeon HD 5450. About similar in graphics to Diablo 2. I need to install it on my other computer with the HD 5670.
wait, what? i've maxed everything out on my old ass gtx 260 - everything on HIGH at 1920x1080 with AA and it is smooth as butter...are there better quality options that I haven't enabled somewhere?
I have to have my slot fan blowing at high on my Radeon 4850 for it not to overheat and shutdown my whole PC. If I simply upgrade the video card to the latest/greatest < $200, will I still be seeing this sort of problem?
I know it's only the video card since if the slot fan is at low, this always happens, and hasn't happened when the fan is all the way up. All my video settings are already at low. Just like in WoW and other games like Need For Speed... can't have it higher or it'll just shutdown. Max temp even with the slot fan on high has been 98C (I know). Right now at 93C since I'm not in-game. Not O/C'd.
I hate Blizzard:
I'm actually expected to memorize my complicated, keyboard-mash-like random password?
I have it saved in a password management system, and I have to login to that in order to get my account password, so that I can copy and paste it into the login prompt.
So ridiculous. All those authentication options still require the regular password to be used too, in addition to the second one-time password, yes?
Ugh.
Also: lack of official SLI/CF support is beyond ridiculous. Here's to hoping I can figure out how to fix my system (even with SLI Compatibility Bits in Nvidia Inspector, it's still screwed up).
One 560 Ti 2GB isn't cutting it for maxed out graphics. SLI could easily handle this game, but noo... bastards.
You know whats funny about this game, they actually stole content from many other games heh.
Did you see the butcher in D3? They completely ripped that off Dota/HoN. I saw that and was surprised...
