It's going to take me to the end of july to get from 754 to 800.

I must be losing my touch I only picked up 6 more gifts in the last week. I did burn 3 though so my stash is running low. 😉

Lol. I need a few. Did pick up a so-so ancient rorg today.

Tweak and I have been doing speed grifting this last week and I must admit it's great for the exp gains. It's rare that I can get a full level in one sitting, but 2 is excellent. Lots of drops to wade through as well.

Haha, you and your horde of materials at your disposal. You could supply an army with all you have stashed.

Thank you and Sir Paul for the Grifts earlier. To paraphrase Conway Twitty, you could tell I'd never been that far before...

It's always amusing to me how I've been feeling like a superhero in T6 rifts, and comfortable enough to carry the whole group in public games, and then the next minute SirPaul/Floggin/Pandemonium/etc. brought me to Grift 40+ and instantly I feel like a chump who don't even know how to not die every 10 seconds 😀

Its a real fine line to where u get in over ur head. And sometimes rng has other plans.

Last week Chairshot and I did a 45 grift. It should have been a faceroll for us.

It was from hell, all kinds of elite pack affixes closely bunched, one angrier than the next. It was a 30 minute hellride for sure. The other night when we were bopping low 50s nothing came even close to that.

Downed a 54 solo today! On to 55... I think that's the most I will shoot for. The real top leaders of the boards are able to do higher ones due to having 900+ paragon levels... I just ain't got time for that!

RNG is an exercise in perseverance sometimes.

no doubt about that! I lost that battle after not getting a gift in almost 3 months and got a bit burned out. I'm glad you guys are still having fun and sounds like you're destroying some high level grifts.

I've been back on Destiny and League of Legends for a bit, but might jump back on diablo at some point.

Hi guys have anything been changed or added? I have not been playing since S3. Is the DH still thebest class to play or did that changed?

Are there any anandtech NA groups that do 55+ for gem leveling? I just found ancient SS and ancient tals source so I'm ready to push up to 60 and get those gems leveled.

ahhhh that 32min grift 45....

Wallers + arcane + electricity in corridors.... ouch

cant be as bad as our 54min grift 48 last month lol!!!!

So guys I've had a lot of good fortune with Kadala. Either I'm just one of the lucky few or they've changed the drop rates significantly on some of these items.

Playing as a Shield Bash Crusader and hit 70 for the first time maybe ~ a week ago. Currently Paragon 50 or so. Have successfully gambled 4 pieces of Rolands and 2 Akkhan's (leg/shoulder). I've got a RORG (3 actually??), Reaper's Wraps, Piro Marella, etc. So basically I've been very lucky (I think) with my gambles and drops. I do need a SoJ. Could probably use a better amulet than Golden Gorget of Leoric, and need a better belt than Krelm's.

Here's my question:

What do I go for next? I'm using the Grandfather and like everyone else playing this game would love to have a Furnace. Any particular place to farm for that? Chickens to sacrifice? Etc. Is there another item I should be chasing instead?

Basically I'm trying to figure out if I should gamble for Furnace or go for the rest of Roland's and a belt first. If Roland's/belt, do I then try torturing myself by gambling for the weapon?

Thanks guys...

Dude, depending on your goals, you've likely got a lot of grinding left to do. Are you running gems in your rings and amulets now? To get perfectly rolled ancient BIS everywhere is a tough row to hoe.

What have you been doing to gain xp? Speed T6 rifting/grifting can be fun. I must have done like 30 grifts the other day with Pandemonium and Neztah.

You actually just brought up a point I meant to ask about.

Where should I actually be leveling? I was doing T1 and skipped straight to T4. Seem to not have any issues there. At what point should one feel geared well enough to be in T6 or is it just a case of hop in and see how you do and adjust accordingly?

And yeah, I do have gems in rings/amulets where I have sockets for them but right now I'm not actively attempting to reroll for sockets if none exist. I do know some of the items I have are not the best rolls of those items. Etc. Plenty of room for improvement. Right now I'm trying to figure out what the best progression path is given what I have.

In terms of my overall goal. I work a lot of hours during the week and don't often have a lot of time to play. The weekends I tend to have more time but not always. So basically my goal is to just have as much fun as possible in the time I do have but also try to ensure I'm making good choices during that available play time.

Basically I know that I will never be in the seasonal leaderboards but still want to enjoy my time and also be able to hop into groups with some of you higher level guys (eventually) and be able to contribute asap.

Try T6 and see how it feels. The magic find is better in t6 and with a group. If you know ahead of time that you are going to have time to play later on, post in this thread and coordinate with some of the guys here. They can help you paragon level like a boss. Except for TerdFergusen. That guy is a loser. His barb couldn't spin his way out of a wet paper bag.

While yes, T6 has best drop rates, you really should hop into whichever T level is fastest for you: the more runs you make, the better your overall chances are. It's no sense wasting 2-3x time in T6 when you can clear that many more in lower levels.

That being said, there's plenty of pickup games running T6 or g30s and you can get the "group" drop rate bonus also. Just ran like 25+ grifts with a few folks over the weekend in 2 hours or so. I know I got one plevel, maybe two. Plus our screen was so colorful with orange and green haha.

Hopped into a couple of T6 runs last night and went from Paragon 56 to 70 in about 30-45 minutes. These weren't overly efficient either so I see what you mean in terms of organized speed runs and how quickly they can net some gains.

Looks like my good luck may have run out though. Within 5 minutes of being in the game a Legendary 2H Mace dropped. And no, it wasn't the right one...

Become accustomed to this disappointment. I went months without seeing one. I've had 2 Furnaces drop in the last week. None of them were any good.

nothing like getting two 2-H maces off a grift guardian and they are both crushbanes.
