I hope so! Go Cubs!! I hope the media can stop slobbering over manny long enough to realize how good the Cubs are this year, they are 9 players deep in every game, if 2,3,4 don't pick it up, 6, 7, 8 do.
Dodgers are a 1 trick pony. I really, really hope I am right in this. They more or less swept the Dodgers this year, but this IS a different Dodgers team. We'll see soon enough.
Oh, side note, it's been 102 years since both the Cubs and the White Sox were both in the playoffs at the same time.
Is a red-line series possible? Damn, that would be amazing. Chicago would be ground zero, especially when the Cubs win the WS.

ohhh man.. GO DODGERS!! I've waited for this moment for too long. The time for glory must come. 20 years is too long of a wait.

don't even talk about a long wait unless you are a cubs fan.

Anyways I'm going off topic a bit. I think Cubs vs. Dodgers will be an excellent media matchup due to the history of each of the clubs. Whoever wins, it'll be somewhat of a nice redemption for both clubs.

Yeah in between them talking about how/why the Yankees didn't make it, should be decent coverage 🙂
My dream is one day that no NY team or Boston makes it to the playoffs.

😛 i was being semi-sarcastic. Of course, once you've tasted winning, longing for one grows even more. I was a kid that was super into baseball since my Dad took me to Dodger games all the time (he was a season ticket holder for many many years). Seeing the Kirk Gibson pump in game 1, and Oral Hershiser collapse on the mound in Game 5 is something, as a fan, I want to relive again. Seeing that as a kid, I started to value what teammates are for. Be it a lesson for life or not, I want to catch such inspiration again. It's just too addicting once you've experienced your fav team winning like that.
I've become addicted to my favorite teams winning. (Lakers especially).
I'm also tired of my teams being favorites to win and losing (Lakers last year, Chargers last two years, Dodgers almost every year but busted due to injuries/terrible management regardless of talent). 🙁
Anyways, good luck to all the fans..
and GO DODGERS!!!! !!! !!!! 🙂
Oh and GO ANGELS too (with the Dodgers destroying them hopefully 😛)! Freeway Series FTW!
