Doesn't include $1,700 gas guzzler tax. I believe it's the first Corvette to be hit with that tax.

1ZR option is $0. 3ZR option is $10,000. Interesting there is no 2ZR option.

Can't wait for the comparison test with the V spec.

Ditto. I can't wait for any review period. lol

I would be happy with a Z06, it's already too much car for a talentless hack like me. ;)

And the racetrack isn't the only place where the ZR1 trumps its super-car competitors - it beats them at the gas pump, too. According to fueleconomy.gov, the ZR1's EPA-rated 14 city and 20 highway mileage ratings beat 2008 competitors such as the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano (11 city / 15 highway); the Lamborghini Murcielago (8 city / 13 highway) and the Aston Martin V8 Vantage (12 city / 19 highway). They're competitive with the Dodge Viper (13 city / 22 highway) and the Porsche 911 GT3 (15 city / 22 highway).
I like how the viper has good gas mileage all of a sudden.

Wow, finally, a car that can beat my motorcycle 0-60. Still, my bike cost $6500 OTD and gets 48 mpg city. ;)

Quit being so JulesMaximus.

Now I cant tell if you meant that as a joke or not, but we all know you're a big fan of the Elise (as am I), and the interior of the Elise is quite spartan and sucky too. So it's not really fair for you go "neener" at another car's interior sucking when one of your favorite car's interior isnt all that good to begin with. Unless you've openly admitted that the Elise's interior is lacking (I've never seen that here).

While I don't think it's crap, no way I would pay a ~$25K premium for what is still arguably an inferior machine.

In the realm of high end sports cars, 20MPG seems difficult. Though it is amusing that "big, heavy, wasteful american cars" can get better MPGs than the "Efficient, high revving, European cars" But when you blow $100k on a sports car, who cares?!

A manufacture perf numbers are always lower..

not to mention epa gas specs, I would bet it would be closer to 10-12 in city, highway I can see 20 if staying below 70mph is possible.
