So, I decided to start this mew thread to gather information and news about the upcoming (2010?) release of this new MMO. Also, as information is released, we can discuss it here.

The codename for the game is:

Copernicus

As for the history thus far Curt Schilling (yes, the pitcher) is really big into gaming, and decided to financially back a new company to develop a new MMO. He has already landed some of the best talent in their respective fields (i.e. R.A. Salvatore, Todd McFarlane).

R.A. Salvatore is involved in this production? I may end up playing an MMO for the first time in my life, if that's the case.
 
Somehow I doubt he plans to work on this forever, which would be the only way to make it a possibly worthwhile MMORPG is a continuing story, but no MMO to date has a story in the first place so...

Also it would need some sort of meaningful interaction, something that has also never happened in an MMO.
