I am a team leader in an infantry unit, kicking down doors, late night raids, and rounds cracking near you is the biggest adrenaline rush ever. You dont get paid much, but for an adrenaline junky who creates your own job satisfaction by catching/killing insurgents, it doesnt get any better.

flexible work hours most of the time
work hard when I need to, can slack off so long as the client deadline is met
my bosses only car about the final product, how I get to them is my job
Pay - 1st and 15th are happy days
People I get to meet. VC firms, lawyers, and CFO's across town
emerging technology that excites me especially bio-tech and medical device companies

I do sales work.
Cover East Texas and my home state (LA).
Make good money, with a nice base + commission.
Not very stressful, they look at process along with end numbers.
Get to be outside of the office tuesday - thursday.
Get to see many different types of places, from Tabasco to NASA.
Management is very cool in my office.
