Solid choice. Hillary would have been a better choice if Obama wanted to go after votes. This move goes to show that Obama isn't thinking about votes, he is thinking about governing from the White House.
Obama talks about change(?) and no better change than bring a life long politician as the VP.
Obama has been big about his opposition to the war so he chose Biden and he voted for it.
Lol this is "change" that has been consistent with Obama.
He's damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. Picks an inexperienced VP candidate and its "Oh no, TWO inexperienced politicians running!" and he because he picks an experienced politician, folks like you bitch him out because the guy is a lifelong politician. This is asinine.
Surrounding himself with the same
OLD political hacks that have been in the Democratic party is not the
CHANGE that he has been running on.
You have a point. Obama ran with that brand and people are calling him out on it. Fair enough. However, when it comes to running the country, you will need someone with experience, but the right experience is more important. I mean, look at Bush's Administration. It is oozing with hundreds of years of experience and has done the greatest damage to America.
Yeah because in order to be the candidate of change you have to change everything. Look at Obama, I bet if he gets elected he's going to move right into the same house that we've been using since the war of 1812! HOW CAN HE CHANGE THINGS IF HE WON'T EVEN CHANGE HIS ADDRESS.
Obama's appeal for change is an appeal to post partisanship, it's not specifically an attack on the operation of Washington. He's not trying to pull a 1980 Reagan attack, but... ah fuck it. People on here (like Budmantom) aren't interested in what's actually going on anyway they just want to sit here and snipe at each other with childish insults and facts they got from a chain email.
Post partisanship, yeah that's Obama.
Does anyone actually *believe* that post partisanship bullshit from Obama? It's just rhetoric. Obama votes according to his party. He is against rights of babies born from a failed abortion. What the fvck is that? Even Barbara Boxer (Senator in my home state CA, pretty liberal) voted for it in the US senate.
I don't care if McCain is pandering to the right this election, but truth of the matter is he voted
against the tax cuts even though he pissed conservatives off. He has principles and a track record that is truly "bi-partisan". You can argue that he's against repealing the tax cuts, but the economy is bad and the government shouldn't be raising taxes during bad times.
