Mike is absolutely the kicker that will make or break this show. I think he it the one character I enjoyed the most in BB. Laughed for a long time about his Granddaughters ears matching his.

My favorite Mike moment is

Old Joe: (naming items to remove from pockets) "Credit cards. You’ll want that plastic working, come Miller Time."

Mike: "You know, I can foresee a lot of possible outcomes to this thing, and not a single one them involves Miller Time."

Low expectations, but I hope we get some closure on whether or not poor Huell ever got out of that room. 🙁

However I would hope we get to meet Huell at some point when he comes to Saul as a client. I'd love to see what crime that poor shlub botched to end up indebted to Saul.

Didn't the actor actually lose a bunch of weight recently? That would play perfect for a younger version. I hope he has at least a cameo, even if it just as a guy in the office because he pickpocketed an undercover cop and lifted his badge on accident or something.

I want to meet all of them at some point. How did Saul find Huell and Kuby? What was his origin with Gus? Jessie, Skinny Pete, Badger and Combo obviously had done some business with him in the past. Hell, even Tuco and Crazy Eight, Hector and the cousins, Maximino and Hank/Gomez could be part of Saul's past. We saw Mr Chips turn into Scarface, now we get to see a criminal lawyer turn into a CRIMINAL lawyer. It has the chance to be great, all the elements are in place. So many of these characters are so interesting that it will be a pleasure to watch them develop into who they were in Breaking Bad.

Since this is a prequel, set 6 years prior to Saul meeting Walt... I wouldn't count on a Huell update.

maybe future Huell takes the hottub time machine to visit past Saul and past Huell and warn them so that Huell never gets abandoned in that safe house?

Huell is such a great character... I'd probably go see a movie with that plot. LOL. 🙂

Yeah, me too. Though, if I were being serious, I think future Huell would just take the hottub time machine back to where he can lay on that pile of money, over and over. He probably wouldn't care too much about dying alone in that motel room.

He got busted pickpocketing, hired Saul, then that just turned into a regular gig being a heavy (ahem) for him.

That's my story anyway.

I think I'll wait until the end of the first season to start watching. I keep track of what's going on better and appreciate story arcs more when I binge watch.
