How do accounts work on BF3 PS3? I want to rent the game to try it out, will I be able to log in to my PC account, or do I login thru PSN?

You log in through PSN and then link your PSN account to your PC account. That way you can get your stats on both platforms when viewing on the web.
 
I just bought this for my PS3 this past weekend. Was able to get a Limited Edition copy for $39.99. My son has it on his 360 and I ranked to level 15 or so on it, but my main console is PS3. I am enjoying it a lot, especially since I have this setup in the living room on the 50" with the 7.1 home cinema. Sounds and looks fantastic.

Anyway, point is just get used to buying retail for any online game. And frankly, I am okay 100% with it.
 
I usually play this on the PC but just grabbed a copy to play with a coworker who seems to not have as much time to play as he hoped. Anyone else still play it on the 360?
 
Is there anyway to get EA to put all of its trailers for BF3 on Xbox live uspecially the one that shows two planes taking off vertically and it shows at the end a person's neck being messed up?
 
Did anyone else end up buying the BF3 Premium version of the game that came out a couple weeks ago? I traded my original game in + $10 and got the Premium version, so it was worth it. Found myself playing the game a lot more since I bought it. Maybe its the bigger variety in the maps or the extra unlockables Premium added. Having lots of fun with it again!

It's gotta be easily top 5 on Live. If you pack all CODs together, its probably top 3.
Ever since they started charging for standalone servers, its gotten a lot easier to find a fast full server.

It's currently #6, behind Mw3, minecraft, blops, borderlands and FIFA. It's held on pretty strong near the top of the charts since release....it's still a very actively played games, there's still two huge content packs on the horizon.
 
I saw this trailer on Xbox LIVE several months ago. It shows one or 2 planes taking off vertically then a hellicopter flying away to the right. In the video you see someone running toward the camera and and the end of the video you see somebody doing something to somebodies neck. What is that video called? Any links for that video? I wish they would put it on Xbox LIVE and let people download it. It was on the advertisement part of the screen I think...

I know what that BF3 video was. It is the Gulf of Oman Gameplay trailer. On Xbox Live with full streaming and no load times it is one of the best trailers out there. The other being Halo 3: ODST ViDoc Desperate Measures.:thumbsup:
