Defense wins championships.
Exactly my thoughts. The Bucs D will give up points grudgingly to the Raiders O but the Raiders D will give up even fewer to the Bucs O. The only thing that will skew this is the outcome of turnovers during the game and who ends up having the most takeaways. I don't think special teams will be a big factor; that worried me about the Raiders earlier in the season but the last several games they've really buckled down on their special teams.Originally posted by: TapTap
Oakland wins because of THEIR defense.
They have played the most difficult schedule in the NFL this year.
They are physically in better shape than anyone they have played, keeping the pressure on and wearing out the Jets and Tenn in the 4th quarter was very impressive.
Lastly, this is as close to a home game as one can have in a Super Bowl.
When they play the Chargers. they bring 25-30K fans down to San Diego.
Raiders 26-16.
Janikowski will hit 4 FG's. Tim Brown MVP with 10-12 catches and both TD's.
Raiders D sets up short field, for all the points.

Raiders win. Why?
Ronde Barber is a good DB but who else do they have back there to cover Rice, Brown, Porter, Garner, and Jolley?

John Lynch? Dexter Jackson? Derrick Brooks? Brian Kelly(led the league in INTS this year)?
Brooks in a LB but he still plays the pass very well. TB's secondary is considered by most the best in the league so I dont know what your talking about.
That's funny? Tampa scoring 27 points against a good defense? Not likely. Yeah they scored 27 against Philly but that won't happen against Oakland. I'm still not sure what Coach Reid of the Eagles was thinking by backing off their normally agressive defensive play calling and trying to play it safe. Guess he just got a bit tight assed and ended up choking his team.Originally posted by: JOSEPHLB

As long as the score at the end of each quarter ends in a Tampa Bay 4, and an Oakland 3, my wallet is the BIG WINNER!!!!!!! Especially if the final score ends that way. I'm hoping for a final score of Tampa Bay 14, Oakland 13! Best possible outcome, TB wins, Oakland loses, and I'm $2,500 richer!!!!!!!!!![]()

How much poorer are you in the likely even that the scores don't end in 4 and 3 and Tampa loses?
