here is this years scoring system...

Q: I want to start a fantasy league. Can you tell me how the point system works?

A: Here?s a sample of your basic NFL player point values:


For each weapon found in player?s car during arrest (1).

If weapon loaded (3).

If loaded weapon is nuclear (5).

For each illegal drug found during bust (1)

For each hostage duct-taped in the back seat (5)

Player is Tasered, maced or pepper-sprayed (2)

If player attempts to flee, points per police helicopter involved in chase (1)

If busted for steroids, points per alibi (2)

If an alibi involves any character from the cast of ?Days of Our Lives? (5)

?Floyd Landis slipped something into my Diet Coke? (7)

Crashes car while watching porn video (4)

Crashes car while filming porn video (8)

Anyway, my team, The Damn Noobs, will pwn all.

I took the 'big boards' from Yahoo, CNNSI, CBS, and Sporting News. I picked the one that I agreed with most, and made adjustments to it accordingly. That's in an excel file that I use/mark during draft night. So far, I have had much better draft results this year than previous years. I tend not to reach as much in the early to middle rounds, and save my speculative picks for the bottom of the roster. But the biggest thing is knowing who is available based on my ranking of them per position, instead of frantically searching through Yahoo's list on the draft window.
