Official: ATOT GT4 time attack competition- ROUND 3: Special Stage Route 5

Time Attack #3:
Track: special stage route 5
Car: RX-7 Type-R Bathurst-R ('01)

Fastest Laps:
mariok2006- 1:30.576 pic
sniperruff- 1:31.193 blurry pic against a dark background



Before you start a lap, do the following:

1) on the MAIN SCREEN, go into "quick tune up" (little red tool box)

2) Inside quick tune up, increase power by 20%, decrease weight by 10%, and PICK THE SOFT TIRES, AS SHOWN

Let me know if anything is confusing and I'll clarify.



Official Rules

1) Drive in Arcade/Time Attack Mode

2) ALL driver assistance are OFF. NO TCS ASM

3) Do not ride the rails/take shortcuts.

4) Post track time with some sort of picture of the race summary.

5) Winner will pick a new course for next race. Courses cannot be repeated.

6) Cars will be voted by a poll of 6 cars chosen by the winner.

7) Race is over on Dec 25, 11:59PM, or after 72 hours when nobody can beat the fastest time.

8) Feel free to repost faster lap times before the race is over, with a screen cap of course.

9) The player who has most wins is the champ. I'm thinking 11 races, with Nurburgring as the grand finale.

Its going to be very tough to regulate this. I see that it does at leas show the HP, weight, and Tire type, but couldn't you have the full racing supsension and it wouldn't change those? That would make quite a bit of a difference. Also, when you add the spoilers, does that do anything to weight? The added downforce could be a factor as well.

I don't remember, but weren't you able to race with cars from your garage as well though?

all cars will become stock. however you can abuse the "tune-up" thing on arcade mode to:

1) gain/lose weight on the original car
2) make it gain/lose power by 20%

Ok, I couldn't recall. I remember the 2nd and 3rd ones letting you race your modified ones in Arcade mode, but couldn't remember if GT4 did or not.

I saved the replay but i didnt save my game...so the records were not updated...that pic is from the replay because the time didnt show up anywhere else, and i am trying to beat my time as we speak so i can get a better pic...

don't sweat it... but beating that time would be hard! you'd need a perfect lap like you'd drive in a lisence test...

i have some minor errors to improve upon...but it does take an immense amount of concentration...i hate the 3rd and 4th turns with a passion!!! and that turn before the corkscrew...omg...im gonna figure out a way to go flat out if it kills me!! lol

I'll prolly have the new time up in a few hours...
