I have no idea who any of those people are.

Therefor, I predict Bush to win in a landslide.

Well, I guess that's not true. I've heard of some of them, but that's about it.

I'm registering as a Democrat, so I can cast my vote for Sharpton. He so represents that party!

I wonder if within the next twenty years we will swee a candidate from either party that actually is capable of doing a decent job? The Dems running seem no better than Bush. This is going to be like 2000. Who do you vote for, Dumb or Dumber?

I'd vote for Al Sharpton... not because I think he'd be a good president. . .

Call it a vote for more entertainment at the presidential level.

Everyone agrees Sharpton is the best-spoken candidate of this terrible lot. But he'll suffer the same fate as Alan Keys.

Sharpton is, exceedingly disturbingly, the best candidate of the bunch.

But if Sharpton wins the big game, we will be doing a good deal of talking to the Canadian embassy. Not because he's black, but because he thinks he's better because he's black.

Does anyone happen to know if it's possible to denounce your American citizenship BEFORE you obtain a Canadian citizenship?

As a speaker, I think Dean is the best. I haven't heard too much from him that sounds convincing about what he could do for our country, however. Frankly, I'm about as disillusioned with the political system we have right now as I can get.

Dean seems genuine and appears to have actual convictions, which is more than I'm used to from a politician. At the same time, I'm afraid that he would alienate members of congress, etc., and in the end, do more harm than good.

Sharpton is a joke.

I'm trying to learn more about Clark, but some of his ideas, while great, seem too reliant on the military. I'd like to hear how his plan for health care/insurance will take shape, though, as I think that's one of the primary deficiencies of America right now.

Who is going to replace him? I get the feeling it's going to be like Clinton vs. Dole (ick).

If your prediction is right, then I pray that it isn't a democrat that wins. None of them have any clue, and either run on a highly controvercial platform or one that simply says "Uh, free love! No war! BUSH SUCKS! No, wait, Bush doesn't suck, that's bad. I shouldn't say that about any other human being. The war definitely sucks though"

American politics are becoming more of a joke than High School class elections lately.

I wish Condi Rice would run against GW. I'd vote for her over him!

I am a Republican, but I don't really care for Bush. His thinking on Iraq was all wrong, and he has done little domestically. I think he's done more to expand government than Clinton ever dreamed, and I hate that. He's too weak to get any of his judges through the senate, though the Dems are using terrible tactics there and are deathly afraid of losing their control over the courts. Why did the partial-birth-abortion ban come so late? Why hasn't there been a move to destroy the IRS? All that is being proven now is that a Republican Executive branch + Republican Legislative branch = nothing for Republicans.

So, I want an even more socially conservative candidate but also one who has a better understanding of foreign policy. Not that I am for bowing to the UN, but we need someone who has better knowledge of the world than Bush!

LOL, do you actually believe Bush actually thinks up these policies? Hell before Bush even was elected it was already determined by those who backed him that we were going to invade Iraq. Why do you think Wolfowotz was named Deputy Secretary of Defense? They speak of the Bush Doctrine when it comes to our policies in Iraq when in truth it is the Wolfowitz Doctrine.

This thread is kinda ironic, isn't it?

EDIT: I am not of Democratic Party affiliation and won't vote in their primary

I love Alan Keyes!! What a good guy.
But he was way too upstanding, honest and tells it like it is. Plus the USA is not ready for a black president (sad to say, but true). So, he didn't stand a chance.

As far as Sharpton goes... he is a crook. He is only one step above Jesse Jackson.

Can anyone say: Tawana Brawley?

Dunno, but seems to me that John Edwards seems the most down to earth and least repulsive. Alas, I fear that this will be another write in ballot: Alfred E Newman

Don't get me wrong.. I'm all for it..

But I think there's a problem if half the US doesen't know who these clowns are.
