i have the movie. i was just hoping to make it available to others via fatkorean's ftp, but i can't finish the last 5 minutes of the upload.
i liked the Naruto movie. I can see how its geared towards kids though. And a few of the themes seemed familiar again...like Naruto trying to win the princess over with his never give up attitude just like he did with Tsunade. And Sasuke cracking the guy's armor and Naruto finishing him off...that was in the story arc with the race. I forgot who it was though.
It was really funny at the end though, after the credits where its hinted that the princess would star in one of Jiraya's perverted books made into a movie. That really got Kakashi excited

Well as far as the whole SEED thing goes, I think they are both extraordinary pilots, but Kira has the ability to use his "super" powers much more often. Just like how you saw Shinn dodge Kiras attack because of the SEED, once Kira "breaks" he's unstoppable.
You could see how good of a pilot Athrun was at the end of the original Gundam SEED, but it did look like Kira was a better pilot. Although I honestly don't remember when Athrun has "cracked" and become "super" Athrun in Destiny. When he does, the battles should be much much closer.
Whether its because Kira can knowingly cotnrol it, or whether his views and emotions just allow him to harness these powers, I don't really know.

Yeah, Athrun wasn't fired up enough to properly defend against Kira after his seed broke.

From what Athrun said about the battlefield not ready for Kira's power and after watching gundam seed it really does look like Kira is more than a step above Athrun, and in this one Shin. Shin only moved like kira when he was in seed mode, where as if Kira goes into seed mode Shin doesn't stand a chance.
As for athrun and his seed, I generally don't think he is emotional enough for it to really happen, as it does with Shin and Kira. The difference between the two is that kira controls himself much better when in seed mode than Shin (more irrational).

I think that Shin just hasn't had the opportunity to really control himself while in SEED mode, while Kira is used to it and has pretty much mastered it.
I completely agree with you comparing the emotional states of all the characters. Athrun is just too emotionally insensitive to effectively use SEED for the "super" power that it is.
